Bromine and Chlorine prices have skyrocketed. With 50lbs from major pool sites and stores ranging from $429 to $449. For less than $250, Hydia Clear 50lbs is a steal, plus no shipping or 'handling fees'. And it works GREAT in our 16' x 32' pool ! The active ingredients are; 1-Bromo-3, 1-Chloro-5, 5-dimethylhdantoin 98%. Exactly the same formula as other brands, but almost one-half (46% less) the cost. Don't be fooled by comments stating this is 30% chlorine. All bromine tabs are 30% chlorine, as bromine and chorine are in the same chemical family. Beware of uninformed reviwers ! If having integrated container grips vs a handle, or tabs in bags/not in bags, etc. are issues (see other reviews), then maybe paying another vendor $429+ will be your choice. Looking at the facts and getting value for my money is my choice, and I’ll be buying Hydria Clear bromine again !

Have been using this product for 3 years and works great in our pool. Fast delivery and price is better than most retail pool stores.

hard to find good price . tablets are all in the bucket loose. arrived in good shape very few were broken they do dissolve slowly so take that into account . I will use these again and hope they will still be available.

Works well, I could do without the plastic bags in the tub holding the bromine tablets, they break and you have to pick the plastic out of the tub. But they sanitize the pool very well.

Perfect product for pool/spa. Does not irrate eyes like cholorine can.
