Love it runs most days. Purchase because neighbor has a cat issue. Keeps my side home smelling fresher. Would recommend.

I was finally relieved to see a big box on the porch, I have ended up with so many tiny little air purifiers. This is a full size and has great features including an actual automatic mode with a particulate meter. It connects via WiFi to the Smart Life or Geeni Apps (probably others too). In the app you get the current air quality (and you can use the reading to trigger other smart home things), filter life, and remote control ability. The built in display also gives the current particulate reading along with a Green, Yellow, Red LED internal light to visually see the air quality. I was surprised when I plugged it in that my air quality was actually really good, 12 ppm. (it's gotten no lower but occasionally will go up to 16-18) One time out of no were it went to yellow and kicked the fan speed up for a minute and then return back down. Nothing was happening in the house and no one was moving so not sure if that was a glitch or if something really passed through it. It's pollen season up in the mountains so I thought this thing would be going bananas every time I opened the door but to my surprise it stays mellow with no real move in readings. I do use MERV 13 filters in my central air system so maybe I don't really need additional air purification but I am a data junkie and I love knowing the status. At low speed the unit does have a bit of a wobble/vibration to it. Any speed above low and it goes away. Not sure if that's a fan blade balancing thing or what. That is probably my only gripe. No sounds from that but it is noticeable. Finally I will mention the replacement filters, which do not appear to be of a standard size and the only ones I have found so far to actually buy are the brand name ones. They are expensive, $80 for a two pack. It does come with a velcro prefilter that looks to be washable so that should help extend life some. The filter life in the app just appears to track time not actual use by say using particulate reading data or fan speed. If they company disappears tomorrow you may not be able to get replacement filters.

We have 3 cats and a dog, so we really needed an air purifier. This unit is large, but lightweight. It isn’t hard to set up, and does have a basic app you can download to operate. Once it on auto mode, it will adjust accordingly. It will show a red light, yellow light, or green light, depending on the air quality. What I like is the pre-filter is washable. The pre-filter catches the pet hair. I was very surprised on how much fur it captured after a week! I have noticed a difference in the house odors, too. Now you can’t tell I have multiple fur babies when you walk into the house.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: It was pretty easy to set up. I had the app for other things in my house so adding it was fast. I will say this is way bigger than my other home purifiers. I have seasonal allergies. I can tell when the purifier isn’t on. I wake up super stuffy. This purifier is loud. It sounds like a fan. It does have different settings and timer options. I appreciate it so I don’t have to turn it off in the am. It also has a night setting where the lights go off. Overall it’s a decent starter purifier. I would much more prefer my shark one. This is closer to a basic fan.

We had a full home air purifier system that broke. I said to my husband that we were not replacing that too. We recently had to replace one unit of our central air system that cost $14,000. Ouch. Then the dryer that we had under warranty broke 2 days after the warranty expired. Ouch again. Let’s add our water purification system and a few other things that broke. No more! We replaced most but agreed the air purifier system was not a must replace. We live in very nice neighborhood with plenty of trees and you must have at least 2 acres to build. So, that is why we chose not to replace the air purifier. Then Amazon does its magic! It recommends the Airthereal purifier! Exactly what I wanted as a replacement. It is wonderful!! Our Maine coon cat is a very large cat. Actually 20lbs and is not considered overweight. He sheds a lot this time of year so but the Airthereal is a Pet Air Purifier! Perfect! The price point is wonderful when compared with other products similar to this one. Additionally, there is a touch control panel and display on the top of the purifier. The instructional booklet it came with is clear and concise. That is something I love because I am a partner at a high tier consulting firm. I have seen many wonderful products that are the heart and soul of small businesses fail for something as simple as directions for the product. Of course, I have worked with countless corporations to devise solutions but I personally root for the success of small companies. There is no cons that I can list regarding this air purifier. I previously mentioned how well it is priced. Additionally, how wonderful the user manual or directions were easy to follow and written well, the choices of how long you want it on great, the background noise while this purifier is on excellent and is not noisy, and most importantly, how well it works. This is a wonderful and highly recommended product. I have no problem or second thoughts about leaving five stars for this air purifier. I wrote this review a few days ago and usually wait a period of time to see if my review is accurate. It absolutely is and nothing has changed. Still fab!

Useless. Just makes a lot of noises and doesn’t filter anything

I have four cats, and this purifier has been amazing. It handles all the fur, dander, and those litter box smells that sneak up on you. The air in my house actually feels cleaner, and I’ve noticed I’m not sneezing as much. It’s quiet, covers my whole living room, and the washable filter makes it super easy to maintain. I love that it has an air quality light so I can tell when it’s working harder. Honestly? With this many cats, I needed something strong—and this one keeps up. Definitely a win in my book.
