As other reviewers have said, it is made out of plastic much like the kind used in a grocery store bakery. Not super sturdy but not flimsy either. However, the nametag holder holds the name tags perfectly and even upside down (see pix). The seller is a great communicator. The first package was damaged by UPS and the seller immediately sent me a replacement.

I bought three (3) sets of these name Tags organizer trays for about $15 each. It was a little bit of an investment but, they held up well and helped registration go smoothly!!!We order these for our High School reunion name badges and they worked perfect!There is a front and back to the way the trays turn. The slits will hold will hold ALL sizes of name badges. I used the 3x4 and they worked great. They hold the tags tight even after transport and straight up and down, not at any angle.We slipped in a 5” long, printed meal ticket to the back of our name badges and stood them up. The domed lid still fit snugly without issue even during transport.I did save the shipping box to help transport the trays as the box was perfectly designed to put the trays in and to pull out the trays fully loaded.The tricky part was deciding at what letters of the alphabet to divide the name tags.I was very glad I got the third tray for just 100 name tags, as it worked to divide them A-H / I-M / N-Z - for the number of tags in each group.We made sure to have a classmate at the sign-in table with each tray and overhead signs stating the last name, first letter divisions and it all pulled off very smooth.I can highly recommend these trays.After our use, I donated them to our local Chamber of Commerce and they have enjoyed using them many times as well!Good luck with your projects...

I'm pretty disappointed in the quality of this product. For the price, I was expecting something stronger to protect and store my staff's name tags. The box it was delivered in was even label fragile. The slots are also too tight to easily store my name tags. I paid almost $30 including nonrefundable shipping and handling so I'll keep it for now but I would not recommend anyone else buying.

I like it. I will use it to contain my organization's name badges. The badges do fit snuggly in the slots. Can't complain about shipping as I got it the next day. HOWEVER, BE AWARE that it was not the quality plastic I expected. I thought it would have been made from a more sturdy and rigid plastic material. I would have given it 5 stars if it was made with a better plastic material.No where does the listing ad cite the material used in manufacture. It simply says, "MATERIALS: Clear rigid plastic tray and cover" and "LIGHT AND EASY TO TRANSPORT - Strong plastic base tray with a thin crystal clear top." Simply put, it's a glorified cake container. You know when you buy a cake in the store bakery and it comes in a protective black base and clear top? That's basically what this is except it's designed to hold ID cards. I wish they would have been a little more "transparent" (pardon the pun) up front.Is it worth the price? I don't think so BUT it's the only thing out there that will do what I need at this time. We will see how it holds up over time. As I said, I like it. I'm going to keep it and give it a try. Just be aware of the material quality before you purchase one for your organization.

Great product.Badges are held in place and do not move when transported. The cover keeps them in clear view and protected.If if looks like it does not fit the badges, turn the base over. The product is packaged with the bottom tray flipped upside down to fit the packing., which is confusing if you think the badges do not fit in the tray.

Definitely helped with organizing badges prior to the trade show.It is lightweight- but reusable. Very reasonably priced compared to other options.

Perfect for organizing and holding the badges in order prior to an event! Just what I needed it for! The name tags hold well in the slots, they do not fall out or wiggle around. It’s a tight fit but easy to insert each badge.

Using to display name badges for my 50th High School Reunion. I needed to order another case but shipping was way to expensive.
