Men's Smiffys 1970s Suit Costume

This outfit worked Great - exactly as pictured and well put together. I'm 5'9" and 170 pounds - chest 42-waist 34 and the fit was about perfect in size Medium. I did cut out the fake black shirt and wear a black one of my own and I did give the outfit a thorough ironing. Other than that, the outfit went as received. Very well done - we sang "Night Fever, Night Fever" all night long.

Ok I'm a female, a size 18 bottom, 16 top. I have larger thighs, so the extra-large size pants were quite snug. The top of the suit was what was somewhat large. It was large enough that if I pulled the suit forward you could see down my chest. Undershirt required. But if you're not sure what size to get and you have larger, thicker thighs, you have to get the bigger size. These are stretchy. white. pants. You will need the room! The extra-large pants were stretchy, but fit JUST right and I'm a solid 18. Luckily the top was so large, it covered up the butt of the pants, which were see-through; my underwear was PURPLE, so I was relieved to have the coverage. It's nice that the top part is long, but I didn't realize when I ordered that it is all one big piece- the jacket and vest-- as in, it's sewn in as one big shirt thing you put on. It has to be ironed (on a low low setting- this is cheap fabric), and if you went a size up to compensate for the room needed in your pants, then you may need to bulk up the top part with a sweater underneath. It was big on me, and I needed the warmth anyway. Keep in mind also, the pants are very long. You may need to hem them if you don't want to drag. I'm 5"8" and I had to pin up about 2 inches of the bottom of the pants. This is a perfect throw away Halloween costume. Price was good, and it showed up quick.

This suit was so worth the money paid. Pant were a bit long but still nothing that could not be fixed or worn as is. Give it a good ironing and this looks almost like a real suit.

I got this for my boyfriend for an El Superbeasto costume. He normally wears a 2X-3X in shirts. The top fit well, but the pants were a little big/long. We ended up safety pinning them in the back. I understand that costumes are meant to fit a range of sizes, so we just dealt with it. The suit was absolutely perfect for the costume - he won the luchador costume contest with it!

This is utter and complete crap. I ordered 1 size smaller than necessary and I was still drowning in it. It's cheap, crappy Chinese junk. Do not even bother wasting your money on "hoping" this will be ok. It's not.

Ordered this for my husband to wear to a throwback party. It was a real hit. He takes a 44 suit, and the jacket and pants fit well. The fabric is a bit thin, but it's a costume, not a regular suit. I used a steamer to get the packaging wrinkles out and it came out great.

Ordered a 2 x, Runs a little big, husband is 2 x fits a little big may have to hem a bit. Material is a little thin and wrinkled but may work fine for costume.

Good for average size guy but my son has muscles. Too tight in arms and legs.

This suit was exactly what I expected for the price. It looks fantastic for a 1970's, John-Travolta look. I got a lot of admiration at the party I went to. Of course, for the money, it is very thin, and I moved carefully as I suspect it could rip quite easily. But for a single event, or occasional fancy-dress party, you couldn't do better than this for the money. Oh - btw - it comes very creased. The instructions say 'do not iron', but you have to really. I ironed it carefully on a very low heat & it was fine. Just be careful.

Helt ok 70-tals kläder, lite stor i storleken. Jag tog L är 1,82 lång och väger 80kg. Medium hade nog fungerat.

Also die Kostümjacke passt perfekt (Größe M bei 172cm und 88/90cm Bauchumfang....man kann aber auch durchaus noch mehr molliger sein). Die Hose ist mir ein klein bisschen zu lange aber optimal ausgestellt. (Kann man ja aufstecken - falls gewünscht) Bin wirklich mehr als zufrieden und ich finde auch, dass die Qualität voll in Ordnung ist. Viel Spaß damit. Kaufen!!!
