Wow! Put one tablespoon on one bag of popcorn and it is unbelievable. We got a large tin to mix it with a quick shake. We are hook. Great snack that is also good for you!

Good quality and Bob Mill's his company owned by employees. Great story; he was going to retire and instead of sell to big other company he sold it to his employees. Why, bc his employees make the business work. That is always a plus for me when a company is respectful and appreciative of their employees.

Great product but more expensive than locally
This is awesome on popcorn with a little margarine and sea salt. Can’t have dairy and this does not taste like cheese but it has a savory quality reminiscent of Parmesan when used with the fat from margarine and salt. Bonus is it has B vitamins. I love the big flakes in this brand. The price is not horrible although there is definitely a mark up over my local grocery store. Ordering this from Amazon while convenient will be second choice for me because of the price mark up.

My new secret ingredient
In retaliation for McCormick discontinuing home style gravy packets, I saved the ingredient list and ventured off to make my own. Mushroom powder, yeast extract, beef base (these seemed to be the flavor entries) I saw nutritional yeast at the grocery store (good on popcorn?) and grabbed it. Quick and dirty is a packet of mushroom gravy, teaspoon pork base (secret ingredient #2), 1 tblsp nutritional yeast, 2 tblsp roux (yes I make roux but use a packet) and 2 cups of water and good googly moogly it’s home style gravy only BETTER. I started putting the nutritional yeast in all of my soups, stews, gravies, stuffing and it’s magical. It lends a savoriness (I am old school and avoid the word umami) I was going to try marmite (also yeast based) but I didn’t want the house to smell like garbage. Nutritional yeast does not have much of a smell, maybe like baked goods but a couple of tablespoons in your savory dishes turns them into a love potion. All of my friends are now adding nutritional yeast to everything except, as it turns out, popcorn salt still wins over yeast for popcorn. My husband “what did you do this time?” Ancient vegan secret!
