It’s actually pet-proof.
The screen works amazingly well. My dogs will scratch at it when they want to go outside and the screen holds up to everything. Installation was a little weird because this isn’t a metal screen. Metal screens crease into edge. But this isn’t metal so it felt weird installing the edge seal. I thought the screen would be loose or wrinkled when I was done, but it’s perfectly snug. Trimming the excess was also a breeze. It looks amazing.

Durable and also makes it dark and breezy.
Oh this has been my favorite cat purchase ever. Easy to put up, keeps my cats INSIDE the material is thick compared to my old screen where my cats would scratch it up and tear it, this one the quality is perfect so when they scratch and claw, it barely breaks down.

Amazing screen for pets!
I wanted to see how this held up for a few months and I’m very impressed. One of our bernadoodles scratches the screen every time he wants to come inside, or go outside and this has held up! They also put their weight against it and it’s still intact. Amazing quality and durability. The fit was perfect for our door. I would recommend getting a tool to install the screen mesh if you don’t have one as this took us a while to put together, but totally worth it! We love the color too and the shade it provides so we can keep our door open but screen door closed to get the breeze but no heat from the sun.

Stout replacement with a mind of its own.
This is certainly a strong replacement for any 'normal' screen door material. I guess polyester is considered the best material to use if you have pets. I have a cat that loves to climb everything, so finding this product was a great relief. So far he has been up and down it a couple of times and it supported his weight without tearing. On the downside, the screen material arrives folded into a two foot by 2 foot square. Consequently when you come to fit it to your door frame, the creases in the formidable material remain intact. I tried pre-tensioning as best I could but the creases remained after the job was done.. As the screen is black, it really doesn't show too badly unless you catch it at an acute angle, so it is really of no concern to me. I think the price was reasonable considering the quality of the product. It would have been a bonus to maybe have a few feet of rubber spline to replace the old one but I was able to reuse the old, so not a huge problem.

Perfect heavy duty screen!
This is the best heavy duty screen I've ever put in our door wall screen! Upon receiving I was skeptical of the thickness and how dark it seemed to be. I was also concerned the folds would not disappear. I installed this screen today, taking my time to keep the screen taught. I did 1 long side, 1 end, the other long side then the other end, keeping the screen snug. It turned out perfect, no evidence of the folds and was nice and smooth. NOTE: I HIGHLY RECOMMEND using .120 rubber trim, like they suggest! I bought the trim on Amazon, fit perfect! Final product with door installed, visibility is wonderful and looks great! HIGHLY RECOMMEND¡

Much to my surprise the creases and wrinkles disappeared
I would have much preferred the screen to be rolled up rather than folded. To my surprise, once the screen was installed in the frame, all the creases disappeared. Yet, I did waste a considerable amount of time with a hair dryer, endeavoring to stretch out the creases. Although it did improve matters a little, I think it was a waste of time. Recently, I re-screened a couple of average-sized window screens. That was a piece of cake. Installing this much larger and heavier screen took a lot more effort and patience. I stretched out the screen the best I could, taping it with blue painter's tape around the entire perimeter of the screen frame. I meant to purchase .120 spline, yet mistakenly ended up with .125. It took a considerable amount of effort to fit this heavy material in the channel with the larger spline. I wasted about an hour with the hair dryer. Spent about an hour taping it down and stretching it out. Took about an hour to put the spline in and finish with the trimming. All the while convinced that in the end, I would have a screen with a lot of creases and wrinkles. With that in mind, I felt like I was wasting my time the whole time. It wasn't until the last few inches of the spline were going down, I began to think "this might just work!" In the end, I am very happy with the results. The screen is not as invisible as I would like, yet I suppose that is the trade-off when durability is an important factor. Do I think the screen will stop a hungry squirrel or raccoon? NO! Do I think it will last a lot longer than the screen it replaced? Absolutely! In the end, I would pay more to get a screen rolled up and in a protective tube than to have to endure all of the doubt.

My male cat likes to think that he is an outdoor cat. When we moved into our first home this past fall, the kitchen window leads you onto the back patio. He took this opportunity to break out of the house while I was away. I did not even notice for like 2 hours! Sneaky devil. He's not very smart, because once I found him and brought him home he immediately went to try to escape again, showing me what he did to the screen. So now he lost the open window, and both cats where sad. But it was a beautiful fall and I did not like that I had to have the window closed. It provided a great breeze. So I took to the internet to see if someone had made a cat proof sceen. They did! So to Amazon I went to see if I could buy some here. Success. Arrived quickly and was super easy to install. Product does not come with window installation items, but I had purchased other screen material for the upstairs rooms that did not need to be cat proof. This honestly is the best money I have EVER spent in my entire life. And I have a bit of problem. My cats are super mad at me because they can not escape the house anymore. No matter how much he tries, he can not make a hole in the screen. I am hopeful that I have enough left over to do the patio door screen. If not, I will be buying some more so that I can enjoy the patio without those monsters getting free. Now they sit in the window sad and stare at me while I'm BBQing.

Built my back patio door with this. Cat climbs up anyways ( I don’t encourage this obviously) , but holds his weight and hasn’t ripped. Sturdy, and you can see through it perfectly

Easy to install, and has been able to hold up against 2 60# dogs scratching at it

My cat sat and scowled at her new challenge. She attempted to claw it, perhaps to spite me or to catch a bug, but either way the screen held strong!

We are trying this product to see if it will stop the dog from going right through it....So far, so good. Only time will tell us about the durability. The black colour of the mesh might help the dog recognize that the screen door is closed.
