After reading many bad reviews about not lighting up correctly I decided to get it anyways because it looks cute not lit up if it didn’t end up working. It has worked perfectly for me. I put it on my front porch and it gets plenty of sunshine throughout the day to charge up for the night. It comes on right when the sun starts going down and stays on until the sun comes up in the morning. All the shells light up fine and it shines bright all night long. So cute!! Just be sure to put it somewhere to get lots of sun to charge up.

This was delivered on 7/7 and as of yesterday the light on the middle turtle stopped working. I had another one very similar to this but without the "Welcome" sign and it lasted over 3 years. The only reason I threw it out was because it accidentally got knocked over on the rocks and the plastic cracked. This is definitely not worth the money, very disappointing.

Great lol sucker. All 3 turtles lit up from the moment I unboxed this. Great addition to my tiny desert garden.The reviews about all 3 turtles not lighting up didnt hold true for me. I recommend!

The solar doesn't really work I have to reset the button constantly to get it to turn on. I kept it because I like the design but it does not function like it should.

We live in Florida so sunlight isn't a problem. What is a problem is it dosen't work. There is a button on the bottom that you push for on/off. Why you would turn if off is beyond me but the button does nothing. You can push it till kingdom come and it still won't work. I am not happy with this product at all.

I really really loved this it was super adorable. But so did someone else in my neighborhood. I only had it for 2 days then someone stole it:( It was super cute though and very bright solar.A+++

I loved the style of it & it looked so cute in my garden, but it only lasted 3 days & I couldn’t get it to lit up anymore. I kept moving it around to make sure it got direct sunlight, but it still wouldn’t work. I had to return it.

cute for a display lights up maybe 1 or 2 turtles at a time. still cute though as a display
