Ground Ginger, Organic, 1.64 Oz

This is one of the best ground gingers I have ever tried. As soon as you smell it you will feel the quality flavor fill your mind with excellent spice. It is pungent, piquant, sharp and strong. It is finely ground so you can add it to all kinds of foods including cookie and cake batters, hot teas, and savory meat dishes. Do not hesitate to sprinkle some on top of oatmeal and ice cream for a boost of happy strong energy.

This may be the best Ginger, dried, I have ever used!!! These folks have spoiled me! I use this in about everything from soups to eggs, to popcorn and even coffee. Because of a health condition, I know it's better to use good organic herbs and spices rather than pharmaceuticals. I'm rising like the Phoenix . Using Ginger, turmeric, garlic, and other spices that are tasty, allows the body to use what it needs for healing. This is the way it's meant to be. I'm 82 and have suffered with much including Lyme's, fungal infections, many losses enough to end it all. Folks are shocked when they learn my age as I'm guessed 20 yrs or more younger using what Father God has provided rather than man-messed up medicines that mostly take our lives or at least slows them down. This company must use some real quality products for the fresh taste this Ginger has. I'm looking here first to replenish other herbs and spices.

I recently used up and disposed of the last of my old spices. I started with a clean slate and I ordered all Simply Organic replacements. Not a cheap do over but one that was well worth it. The flavor of these spices is amazing. So fresh and bursting with nuances that I wonder how I ever managed without them before! I am delighted and they are all organic to boot! Can't go wrong with these, they are well worth the purchase. I am extremely happy! (I will be duplicating this review on the other spices I bought, I can't say enough good things about using them but at the point of number 12 or 14 I would simply be repeating myself anyways! Use and enjoy these! They are amazing!)

I like the taste and quality, as well as the quantity. It was a little hard to get it to shake out at first but I think that was probably because they pack it to the very top, which is a GOOD thing. You can remove the shaker part easily in order to use a measuring spoon and then easily put it back in place. I recommend this product.

This is a really nice ground ginger. I use a lot of fresh ginger but sometimes I'm just too lazy to chop it so I use this. It's got great flavor that's true to it's origin. I always prefer fresh but this does well. I usually add my herbs during the second half of the cooking time so the flavor doesn't cook away. I love Simply Organic Herbs and Spices. They're all fresh tasting, certified organic, made from the best parts of the plants, and come in glass bottles for reasonable prices. You can't beat that.

I had a major craving for ginger snaps with a white frosting glaze (yolks grocery store has some I use to love... Then they stopped using as much glaze and made the cookies smallest I refused to buy them) then I went gluten free so really there was no chance of eating them ever again. I decided I was going to make a gluten free version and ordered this on amazon through subscribe and save and saved 15% . it always amazes me how much spices are but I really feel like this brand is very reasonable for the size of the bottle. You can get a generic brand of seasoning in the small flimsy plastic container for the same price. The quality of the ginger is amazing. My cookies were great! I made a double batch and they were gone in 1 day. I will be buying this brand of seasonings from now on!

This works for me, and I'm happy I bought it. I reach for this product at the slightest hint of cold symptoms, or sometimes I'll just have it for tea in the morning and even at nights. I first mix around a teaspoon.with hot water, then add a mint tea bag, cover and let it brew for approximately 5 mins, then sip to my hearts content; very tasty and delicious! Best of all this is the first year (2015), that I've not already have a cold. The cough and cold syrup industry have lost another customer. So, I kinda doubt this review will be seen by many folks actually searching for a migraine treatment, but let me tell ya... this stuff works. Not always, but neither does Imitrex. There’s a cool study on Pubmed about the efficacy of ground ginger vs. triptans (rx), and they performed equally well. Now this is our go-to, as soon as the noggin-throbbing and nausea hit. It killed the migraine 50% of the time until we started adding 20 oz. water + 1/4 t. Himalayan salt, at the same time, and I think this has us up to 75% successful treatment without ever touching Fioricet or Imitrex. We happen to have a milligram scale and use around 1 gram at a time, but considering how safe this stuff is, I’d recommend finding a way to get 1/4 t down, and add/subtract as needed, from there. In raw powder form, it doesnt taste too terrible with cocoa powder and stevia, unless you happen to feel well enough to make a smoothie mid-migraine, but its easiest to take in capsule form. REALLY wish I had known about this long ago... not just to spare my daughter and I a few migraines, but also, at least $1500 in copays on prescriptions for migraines.

Great product, use for golden milk and general cooking, good taste, no after taste. Assuring that it is also organic, no nasty pesticides.
