Bestop 7912301 Black Sailcloth Replace-A-Top for 1988-1995 Wrangler YJ

Haven’t put it on my Jeep yet but man am I glad I chose this over cheaper options the material is amazing and very durable! When my Jeep is don’t being restored pictures will follow! Update! The restoration is complete and this top just set it off! I am so glad I spent the extra money. The quality is unbelievable. Now I have to order the bestop top conditioner to keep this thing looking mint! THANK YOU BESTOP! Folks pay the extra money you will not be disappointed. Also do this on a 65* and above day the fabric loosens up perfectly and went on like a glove!

The top fits good everywhere except over the front seats. The section between the windshield and the rollbar is not tight. It sags and pools with just a little rain. Hoping it tightens up or I will have to return it. It is a nice top

I’ve had the jeep since it was new and this is the third sailcloth top I’ve bought for it. I’ve had the less expensive tops and they are too noisy and they wore out too quickly. This is the only way to go (imo). The first thing to give way are the seems. The fabric will outlast the stitching.

Definitely buy a bestop and not the cheap generic one im so much happy with this one then the cheaper on it fits right less noise and no leaks like the cheaper no name ones

This top works very well as a replacement for the original (note: this top requires Bestop hardware -- different from the original Jeep hardware). But read the instructions and take them seriously when they say don't try to install it on a day when the temp is below 72 degf.

I do not normally write reviews... I ordered one top and it got canceled by the carrier. Refund took a while. I ordered a second one... The box arrived in very poor condition. I opened it up anyway. Tried to fit it anyway but for whatever reason the fit and finish was terrible. Not sure if it was a shipping issue or manufactuing. So every part of this experance was pretty bad. Shipping was a nighmare and then the final product was bad. Not my usual experance. Shame it had to happen with a higher dollar item too. I returned the second one as well. If I am going to deal with fit and finish issues anyway... I might as well buy a cheaper top and save a few bucks.

I just put this on my 1993 Jeep Wrangler that still had it's original top on it. Needless to say it was really worn out. It was a little tough to get on the first time, but really it wasn't any harder than the old one had gotten to put on. I'm sure it will loosen up and stretch a little when it warms up around here. But it looks fabulous and I can actually take a phone call now while driving and hear the person talking to me.
