PHENOMENAL!!!!
This stuff is the bomb. If I had known about it before I got my kitchen cabinets redone I would have redone them myself. I have cherry cabinets in my downstairs bathroom which the finish has been damaged on certain parts. So I ordered this on amazon after researching and decided to give it a chance. And my gosh, it looks like brand new. Super easy to apply.I was able to match as close as I could to the original finish used. I was actually gonna pay the same people that came out earlier this year to refinish these cabinets, which now I don't have to do. I only need to apply a particular wax to protect because it's an oil base.So I don't need to apply any type of sealer to it . Highly recommend for do it yourself jobs. This is the area I refinished. No sanding needed. I wish I took a before Pic. But the doors were damaged with no stain left.

Amazing improvement to old kithen cabinets in 1 hour!
My kitchen cabinets, made of cherry plywood, are about 50 years old. They were in such horrible condition that I was thinking of painting them. There were large areas of that were missing not only the surface finish, but even the stain. In other words, they were down to bare wood in spots. I panicked when a realtor made an appointment to evaluate my house the next day! I wasn't sure if Howard's Restor-a-Finish would work after watching a YouTube video called "Where Restore-A-Finish works best and where it will not!" That video states that it will only work on shellac or lacquer finishes. It says it won't work on polyurethane or polyacrylic finishes and that the test for those finishes is to apply some alcohol to the finish and rub it with a swab---if the color comes off, Restor-a-Finish WILL work on it. I did that test and no color came off. I decided to proceed anyway, testing Restor-a-Finish on the the back of a door. That went well, so I applied it to all 14 cabinets and 6 drawers. The result was amazing. I couldn't believe my eyes. The parts that were worn down to bare wood were about 75% improved---not perfect, but much, much better. The remainder, where the finish was worn but the color was still there, were 100% better. The sheen is a pleasant sort of "egg shell," not flat but not too shiny either. The realtor didn't notice anything amiss with the cabinets! I was lazy and didn't even wash the cabinets before starting. They still came out great. The best part is that the whole job took less than one hour! I don't know how this product works, but it does. It's like magic. One caveat: it smells pretty bad, so do open a window, but the smell disappeared quickly after the job was done. I spilled some on the floor tiles and it wiped up easily. Definitely one of my best Amazon purchases. It saved me a huge amount of money and/or time and probably added to the value of my house.

Great for it's intended use - restoring existing finish
This stuff is super easy for even a total beginner. What it's *best* at is helping to lift scuff marks, ie stuff on top of the existing finish that you don't want. It's also good at evening out the finish - kinda like blurring primer for your face? Or top coat on a smudged manicure? Cuz what it seems to do is slightly soften the existing finish, then enhance/ blend it with the tint of whatever color you chose. I used Dark Walnut, and it worked fine on 3 different pieces of furniture that were all different shades of medium-dark brown. What it doesn't work for: • filling in scratches • evening out dents or nicks in the wood itself • covering specks of bare wood Maybe unsurprisingly, I got better results on my higher quality pieces of furniture. On cheap veneer, i was left with kind of a scratched up mess.

Quick and easy works like magic
This is magical. I was cleaning out parents estate and had multiple antique wooden furniture pieces to sell. Many of these were scratched and showed their age I read some reviews and actually asked AI what to use. This product came up so decided to give it a try. I’m so glad I did. Many of the antique pieces were restored to a beautiful finish which helped with my sales. I do recommend to use the walnut finish for the oak pieces which darkened the scratches appearing to be part of the wood grain. Love this. I am keeping this product to go over my own antiques at my house.

Doesn't live up to the hype
This is not a miracle cure, it will make your furniture look 20% better. Like it had a good night's sleep and a facial. It does not even come close to the promises the people shilling it on TikTok made (I should have known better).

Works!
Used this on two antique end tables and they turned out beautifully! Left a satin feel to the wood! Very pleased with the results!

It revives the furniture appearance but won’t hide scratches Shipping was disappointing as it took a month to receive it with multiple delays notifications
