VERY Effective for pet hair, but a couple of things to know!
One of my favorite, most practical cleaners to have in your house! I would recommend getting this if you have pets or stubborn dirt. I’ve tried similar rubber hair detailers before and they usually crack or lose shape after a while. The rubber on this one is noticeably thicker and sturdier. It doesn’t bend or warp, even when using it on thick carpet. It pulls up an impressive amount of embedded pet hair that my vacuum leaves behind. The product is very easy to use. I barely apply force on it but it still manages to pick up a lot of pet hair and dirt. I love the product's versatility. It can be used in my car, carpet, and even my couch. There are a couple of downsides to the product though. One, it does not come with an attachable stick, so it took me a couple of times to find something that worked. Using it without a stick can cramp your hands, especially if you are using it for longer periods of time. Two, while the size is great for open carpet areas, it’s less ideal for tight or narrow spaces. However, these two issues would not prevent me from using or recommending the product.

Works exceptionally well on carpet
Worth every single penny. I have 4 cats, a Dyson vacuum and a whole lot of carpet. I don't always want to break out the Dyson because it's loud, and overuse of it can affect carpet lifespan. The Lilly pet hair detailer is INCREDIBLE at gathering up pet hair, lint, you name it. The amount of fluff it Houdini's out of the carpet is insane. I show everyone that comes over (that also has pets and carpets) and they are immediately blown away and want to know where to buy one. Total lifesaver as my cats are starting to shed more with warmer weather arriving. This product is sturdy & very well made. It doesn't appear that it will have any sort of degradation to the threads where a pole attaches, and the plastic of the frame itself is dense & rugged. It's not going to break or fracture through normal use. My carpet at home is a broadloom, medium-plush, cut loop, 25 oz nylon; it's stretched in over padding. I also have a wool oriental-style area rug that the Lilly works well on (I'm much gentler when using it on the rug than on the carpet). I've paired the Lilly with a Wooster extendable paint handle (it's really heavy duty) & I use a fair amount of pressure. It's a fun little work out with very satisfying results. As a side note, I've worked in the commercial flooring industry for around 12 years now as a field technician, inspector, and estimator. Very, very few floor cleaning items & accoutrement impress me. I can honestly say that finding this one was a nice surprise & I'm so happy with my purchase.

Must have for carpeted houses
I didn't know just how badly I needed this. I've seen cheap ones but decided to go for the name brand. It's great for the edge of baseboards, under couches and spots your vacuum just can't really get. Just make sure to get a handle with it as well.

Worked well
Worked well at gathering pet hair off the carpet. I think it would have worked better if it had a bunch of rubber spike/ rake ends as opposed to a single rubber blade, but it worked well for the price.

Game changer for all my pets, but particularly house rabbits
I just got this today and I’m back here to order a second to keep specifically for my couch. This brush picks up not just my house rabbit’s fur, but all their stray hay that usually clogs up my vacuum several times when I go through and clean. Since it picks up both, the hay gets trapped by the fur and doesn’t go flying, unlike when I was trying to sweep before vacuuming. I have all kinds of carpet heights in that area from shag to short, and while this was most effective and easiest to use on the short pile, it picked up fur and hay on all three carpet heights. It fit on a standard broom handle I had around just fine. I also tried this (sans handle) on several pieces of furniture, and it got all the fur out much more quickly than my vacuum does. I’m going to get a second one and see if I can find a short 3/4 inch handle for it - I don’t have the patience to use small brushes on my couch, and this works perfectly for me.

Clean Up Pet Fur
I attached this to my metal mop handle and it worked well to clean up fur off my carpets. It seems to work better on my more standard type carpet than it does on my Berber type carpet, but I still use it on both to help loosen up any fur to help the vacuum pick it up easier. I feel like the double blade is better than the single blade of the hand held hair removers, but I love all of them to help remove pet hair (both dogs and cats).

Great for low rugs & untextured rugs!
I have a pug, which means I live my life in dog hair! I also have quite a few different types of rugs, so I was able to test this out on different kinds. This 'squeegee' (my word) works wonderfully on bare floors, outdoor rugs, low-pile rugs, 'smooth' rugs (they may be high pile but in general the surface is not textured), and rugs with light pitting from moths. The only kind of rug it didn't work well on was a low-pile hall runner that has a herringbone-like pattern in it, the kind that creates raised and lowered areas. I don't think this is a fault of the squeegee because if the rubber strips were more flexible, they would be less effective. But if you have a lot of highly texturized rugs, I'm not sure this would work for you.

My sister got me hooked on this great device
My sister got me hooked on this great device. The lily brush cleaned the carpet of dog hair far much greater than a vacuum cleaner. Using the brush, Small strokes are very important and require a little bit of elbow work. Truth be said, the brush picked up a large amount of hair even though the carpet looked clean. The brush was also used on the staircase and very easy to use. I would highly recommend this product for purchase.
