Gotta say I was skeptical purchasing a teak dining set from Amazon but this is the real deal. Beautiful heavy teak furniture. Easy to assemble and comfortable to sit in. Hoping that it passes the test of time.

If you want teak furniture this is the best deal out there. This was $7,000 cheaper than another set I priced at a top line teak retailer. It took me 2 1/2 hours to assemble and clean up the packaging materials. I essentially saved $2,800 an hour. This is high quality, heavy duty teak that looks amazing.

The process was fast and easy. The table and chair are awesome!

We purchased the 9 piece and the 7 piece sets. Ok ...let's dig into this.1- Teak is the only way to go for the long haul. The other woods are simply not the way to go.2- Installation is easy for 2 involved and manageable with 1 person. If you're married and confident in your marriage you can work together ...then feel free to ask your wife for help. I did these by myself ...LOL3-I had 4 screws strip on me and 2 that broke in half. Customer service was on it the next day!4-After hours of searching for the best deal this was by far the best without moving into the higher range companies.5-I found out DO NOT USE TEAK OIL ! USE ......a TEAK SEALER. It does cost more however, last longer and is better for the wood.6-Enjoy your set and Good Luck if you put this together with your wife ......

I was more then a little leery about dropping this much coin on a picnic set that I had not seen in person. Unfortunately a hail storm had destroyed the glass top of my current set and I needed a replacement for a party I was having in less then a week.Amazon had guaranteed delivery by Thursday. I received a call from the common carrier on Wednesday and was informed that they could deliver it the following Monday or Wednesday when they had a truck in the area. This wasn't an option so I needed to borrow a pickup and drive an hour each way to pick it up myself and take a 1/2 a day out of work. I know this sounds blasphemous but shame on Amazon for guaranteeing the delivery an not being able to follow though.Now the important part- the unit arrived in some beat up boxes but nothing was damaged inside. Assembly was fairly straight forward although the directions left a fair bit to be desired. You could see where everything had been test fit before shipping which made for a relatively pain free assembly. I did have 1 chair out of the 8 that proved difficult, my suspicion was that one of the guide pins got tweaked during shipping. These are not mass produced units as you can see the pencil marks where things were marked to be drilled (these are all covered once assembled)The table went together easily also. One comment is that you can only use the umbrella when the table is fully extended. That's fine for me as I'll only fold down for winter storage but I thought it was worth mentioning. Also hold off on purchasing an umbrella base until you get the table home. There isn't much clearance between the transverse member on the table an the floor so you need to get a base that will 1) fit underneath, and 2) fit up through the opening that is precut.Why not 5 stars? It's well built and I think should last many years but I need to nitpick at this price range. There was excess glue that found its way on to some of the surfaces where it didn't belong. Im sure I can find a way to remedy it but shouldn't have to. One of the screws for the table was bent which had me scrambling off to the hardware store. For 2000+ dollars you can't throw in a few extra screws? Combined with Amazon's shipping debockle and it's 4 stars.If your a wood lover the grains are beautiful. These are heavy beefy pieces that are wide and strong enough for your largest guests. I have little fear of them turning into deck missiles like my aluminum set in high winds. I received many compliments from my guests about what a beautiful set it was. If I hold up my part of the bargain by oiling the teak wood regularly, then I'm sure it will holdfast for a long time. Loved this table and chairs set. The quality is top notch. Assembly was easy and we had all the right hardware which was also of great quality. Nice touches with labels on chairs and table. All holes were pre- screwed and aligned perfectly. All parts arrived in tact- and the delivery came a few days earlier than expected. Chairs are contoured and therefore very comfortable. The expansion leaf is easily stowed under the tabletop and also easy to expand. Only thing I ran into was I didn’t have enough of the teak oil they supplied. I purchased some from our local hardware store which worked perfectly. I would definitely recommend this item.

This product it is exactly as advertised. I absolutely love it. My son put it together in an afternoon. The chairs are sturdy, heavy duty, and nice width, and depth. The table has a really interesting centerpiece that can make it a six seater instead of an eight seat. Really good quality. I had to contact customer service because one piece of one chair was cracked. They sent out another chair immediately to replace this one. They also included a nice gift which is a cover for winter time very impressed with this company, their customer service, and the quality of the set.

Don't give many reviews but was motivated to do so. Always wanted a teak patio set but could never find a used one or one that fit my budget. Then there was a price drop on this set and the wife said buy it! Followed another reviewers suggestion and used Watco Teak oil. Took some time but well worth the effort. Did a flood coat followed by 2nd coat then rub off excess. Have tried to load picks but not working now.I am a very happy camper....
