Perfect size. Also nice and heavy to it won't be tipping over or breaking from knocking grounds out. Like it immensely.

I was growing tired of throwing my coffee disks to the trash and make a mess out of it every time I wanted an espresso... also when you need to hit the arm well, I hated the idea of hitting it against the trash bin, so unsanitary. I made a small look up on amazon to see options and I’m happy I went with this small fellow, its a good size, good price and its very easy to clean. I was worried it may break after a while but is pretty sturdy! Had it for more than a month now and looks like new(:

I had never used a knock box before for making espressos, I had always just cleaned it out by hand over the trash. I find this one of the most useful tools in my kitchen for helping clean out the filter cups after brewing a cup of coffee. It makes the process quick, simple and I can press several shots of espresso in quick order. The knock box is extremely sturdy, able to handle quite hard hits, and has enough volume for an entire mormorning of fairly heavy espresso making. I have only had it for six weeks, but greatly appreciate the overall design and quality of construction. Initially I thought that it's plastic construction would not be sturdy enough, but I find that not to be the case. I also care considered the cost quite reasonable considered the quality of the product during the heavy use that I have made of it in the last 6 weeks.

I think the position of he “bump” bar is probably not optimal. There are square ones with the bump bar that is not smack dab in the middle. And that makes better sense to me.

OMG why didn't I own this sooner? I use refillable K-cups with my Keurig and each day I need to remove the coffee grounds from the vessel. This used to require an annoying procedure of slapping the K-cup upside down and then trying to slam it or change the shape a little to make all the coffee grounds fall out. NOW, I simply do ONE, just ONE tap on the bar of this contraption and all the coffee tumbles out of the K-cup in one motion. I save minutes each morning and so much aggravation! In addition, it looks attractive sitting on the counter. It's much better than the recycled, clear M&M container that used to hold moldy grounds and look awful! Now the grounds don't get moldy if I let them sit and I only need to empty the new container about once a week. This cleans so easily! I truly couldn't be happier.

Though it's plastic, it's sturdy plastic. The ability to beat on it with your tamper to get out the pucks of coffee can't be underestimated on this. The coffee puck goes straight down and because the bar is round, nothing sticks (and you can either rotate it, or shake the knock box).When it comes time to dump the grounds (I use a plastic bag) you can easily remove the center bar and simply "turn and dump" it for gardening.Low key, inexpensive, sturdy and does exactly what you need it to do - a perfect product!As an aside, if your puck is too watery, you may be running too fine. If it's too solid (hard to remove) then you're going the other way with too coarse. The happy medium is going to be a puck that comes out in one piece, little remaining in the portafilter. To help, I switch over to steaming and then back to dumping the puck after drawing my shot. Wait too long, and the heat from the espresso machine dries things out and then I'm scrubbing (and I'm scrubbing if I'm forgetting!)

Love this so much that i just bought a second one for a gift. The knocking bar and bucket are very sturdy. Doesn't make a loud clanking sound when you knock the portafilter on it like some do. Doesn't move around on the counter when knocking. Holds about 8-10 doppio-sized knocks before needing to be emptied. Very easy to clean as bar comes out easily (but is stays in place when knocking). I don't understand the negative reviews for this that say it is too small. It works beautifully with our portafilter. You just need to aim for hitting near the top of the portafilter. If you have soupy grounds maybe it would be an issue (but you have other issues if that is the case).

Great. Buy it now.I can’t say more than that, but I should. This is durable. We both hand wash and dishwasher clean it. No issues. It is sturdy and looks elegant alongside my small espresso machine which cost me $800. This knock box is a must. It is round and has classic appearance. When we make our latte or espressos I don’t have to struggle to clean out the filter - just two quick taps then I rinse the filter and all is good. No struggles.

What is there to say? It does the job and is easy to clean. Even after countless of times in the dishwasher, it still looks like new.

The media could not be loaded.  Après votre bon café inutile d'aller à la poubelle ou loin de la Cafetière, vous n'avez qu'à taper ou tapoter sur la barre du boc et hop plus de mouture. Super pratique, caoutchouc en dessous du boc qui amorti les choc et la barre aussi à du caoutchouc autour. C'est vraiment du bon matériel. Je recommande. 👍

Angenehm schlichtes Design, leicht zu reinigen, ist stabil, verrutscht nicht und macht zumindest keinen Höllenlärm beim Abklopfen: zwei von drei Katzen schrecken nicht entsetzt aus dem Schlaf hoch, wenn ich damit zugange bin. ;-)

La verdad es que me ha soprendido positivamente.Elplástico es de buena calidad y el acabado mas que decente. La barra es solida y con goma reduciendo el impacto del portafiltros. Cuando la abrí me pareció mas pequeña de lo que esperaba lo que fue una grata sorpresa ya que no tengo una cocina enorme... pero me dió miedo que fuese demasiado pequeña. Tengo una cafetera Delonghi Dedica EC685 que lleva portafiltros de 51mm; bueno, no se puede goplear con el mango dejando el filtro libre de la barra (y si se puede será muy justo, por lo que el filtro golpeará la barra pero lo suficientemente adelantado para que la "pastilla" caiga completa. No se si pasará lo mismo con filtros mas grandes ya que en caso de uun 58mm igual golpeas con el centro del filtro en la barra... No lo sé, pero para un filtro de 51mm genial. Es bastante alto por lo que podría contener varios cafés; no sé cuantos puede contener ya que suelo vaciarlo nada mas preparar el café o, a lo sumo, cuando se enfría... y suelo preparar uno, como mucho dos cafés.
