Very good! Perfect for fans!
When I got this item I was very excited! It looks just like Ray! This item is good for fans. The sphere rolls well, and the figure inside stays upright. If you do not know who Ray is, he is a flying squirrel who originally appeared in the game SegaSonic the hedgehog. Ray also appears in Sonic Mania. I took the sphere apart to learn how it worked, ( I put it back together) and it is a little statue attached to a circle thing that goes inside the ball. This toy rolls well, though if you hold it and flip it fast enough it gets stuck- just turn it to unstick it! This toy is durable ( as long as you don't drop it off the roof of a building or smash it with a hammer), and is made of good quality plastic. The ball is roughly two and a quarter inches long. When ordering this we also ordered a Sonic booster sphere and a Tails booster sphere. They are doing well too. These spheres are worth the money. Overall, the booster sphere is a good toy, enjoyable for children and adults alike!

Super cool actually
Figure is about 1-1.5 in tall and pretty detailed. Paint is good quality. figure can be removed easily if you want to display with other stuff. Rolling functionality is ok ball wise but the figure lacks weight and rolls too, which is ok with me lol.

Cute little rolling ball has kept the toddler it was purchased for entertained. Sonic spins as the toy rolls and little one loves it.

Not that great
It’s hard to find Ray toys. My 3 year old likes balls so I thought he’d like this. He immediately wanted to open it to get ray out. The ball doesn’t bounce, and nor does the roll feature work as advertised. You have to roll it VERY slowly to keep ray upright, and it’s jerky, not smooth. It will open and close with adult help, but the toy out of the ball is not very thrilling either. I think it’s a cute toy to look at, but not much fun. If it rolled smoothly with Ray upright I think it would be more fun and feel more worth the price. As is it seems to me not worth $10. Maybe $3.
