The factory protector started to bubble and peel in the middle corners for me, so despite what Samsung says, I went looking for a new screen protector. This one seemed to have the best reviews, and after purchasing, I'm glad I went with it. Tons of stuff in the box to clean and prep the phone, and there's a video on here to watch the installation, and YouTube. The installation card inside is detailed enough to get by as well. Being the Z Flip has the bend in the middle, you have to retrain yourself from the normal way of applying a screen protector. Having tabs on both sides actually makes this much easier, with the careful raising and lowering of the tabs, and applying even pressure with the squeegee card. You may have to smooth the top corner once you're finished where the last tab was, but other than that, take your time, believe in yourself, and if you mess up, you got two more to waste lol. My first try worked perfect. Hope yours does too.

Went on pretty easily but the first one a as a practice run, had a few bubbles i couldn't get out and i'm very picky. Its not a piece of glass so don't expect it. It's the self healing film so its not PERFECT but pretty darn good especially for such an expensive phone. I also have the Samsung leather case which is great. I didn't want dust and such getting under the case and potentially damaging the finish, thats why I wanted to cover the inside also cause dust still gets in there. It's worth it.

I have been trying to find a screen protector for some time now for this phone. Scared to try new protectors since Samsung boast they will void the warranty if you stick anything on the screen. I tried to go to a certified UbreakIfixit store near me and they told me "we no longer work on these phones" i did not want to send my phone off for something this dumb. So i took a chance and ordered this protector. So far I have been more than happy, i think its an amazing product especially if they give you protectors for the rear of the phone to, let alone 3 applications. The first application i was getting used to applying it so i had some bubbles and streaks. second time i got decent but had lines from me sweeping as i applied it. Third time was perfect. Just do one sweeping motion when applying it. Don't push super hard as you don't want to damage the screen. I let me phone sit unfolded for a day for the protector to settle then i used it as normal....worked flawlessly

Wasn't the easiest product to apply, even with the video. My old phone had a frame that came with the glass protection and it made it much easier to apply. But then, I digress, I was able to finally apply the cover and iron out the bubbles. Cheers.

I should have followed the Samsung instruction and not install a screen protector. I have a toddler and I wanted to protect my new phone with this fragile foldable screen, read some reviews all saying these protectors are good. I think the reviews are misleading. First of all, it's a pain to install it perfectly because of its two-part installation steps. It's almost impossible to put the protector on perfectly without any bubbles, especially in the middle folding part. Second of all, it's a very thin film. I doubt if it provides much additional protection. After only 2 weeks, the protector started cracking in the middle folding spot. It became a pain to swipe my screen and feel that crack in the middle. Finally I couldn't stand it and peeled it off, it broke into two pieces and pulled the factory protector off a little bit. Now I have bubbles on my perfectly installed factory protector. I don't recommend this product.

My zflip3 was looking gnarly at the crease (after only 6 months!) because over time the glue comes up from opening and closing it over and over! I took a chance and ordered this replacement screen cover. It has a QR code that connects to an install video, which was so very helpful! The install was a bit tricky (several steps) because of the nature of the product but I followed the video and the results are flawless! It comes with little xtras that make the process easier too, like a little bumper to rest the phone against to aid the process and avoid finger prints, a presser pad to get every bubble out, dust stickers and cleaning pads (which are usually standard). I appreciate them thinking about the tiniest details to set me up for success. This is not something I have a natural talent for. My final results look as good as if I would have taken it to be professionally done! Great product!

installation is a bit tricky but watch the YouTube and it helps. luckily is a set of 3 as the first try went wrong

The texture

like most people, lucky it gives 3....does bubble, and will crack in middle, unavoidable......one lasted a day, crack in mid.....other lasted liek 4-5 months before cracking.....again luck on 3, would buy again, but it does crack and bubble or pop....hopefully they can improve design maybe somewhere??

its alright... the back of it seems unnecessary since 99% of people will buy a protective case anyway making the back useless... when the front is installed, the folding (Samsung Flip 5G) of the phone will make it look like there is a unseemly crack on the screen

Don't have photos as I don't own another phone to take photos of my phone... But yeah these didn't work. Easy enough to install but less than 24 hours in I had issues. First install had a lot of bubbles that did not disappear. Second install went a lot better. Installed during the evening, and the bubbles went away pretty quickly. However, by the morning of the next day the screen protector lifted a little bit on the corners of the crease on both sides, right beside the hinge. Pressed it back down but it lifted back up, and by that point some pocket dust got under the protector and it was beyond saving. Third protector was the same, but I kept it on for a few days as it was the last one and I had nothing else. Figured whatever, it's what I should have expected after reading the reviews here. Well, it got worse. Was -2c out and I had my phone in my pocket when I walked to check the mail. Was outside for about 20 minutes. When I came back inside I opened my phone and heard a very loud pop. Turned out the protector got just a little too cold and didn't fold properly and the adhesive popped off the screen on the crease. So basically.... This protector is useless on a phone that folds and is useless in anything other than arm temperatures. Do not buy if you put your phone folded in your pocket. Do not buy if you live anywhere that sees temperatures below 5c.

I finally did it after buying it two times (got refunded for the first buy) I finally put it on properly, I highly HIGHLY recommend watching the YouTube video! Before when I first bought it I could never figure out why I would always have bubbles on the screen then I watched the video and I felt so dumb, I highly recommend this item but please watch the video, the item came fast and the seller is very nice but the downside about this product is if it's cold outside and the phone is flipped there will be a massive bubble in the middle of the phone and even after you get rid of the bubble there will be marks leftover :/
