What are the 'socks' made of (eg polyester, cotton, wool, etc)?

Hi. The socks of Furniture Sliders by X-PROTECTOR are made from wool.

I have big heavy hutch 7 feet tall n five feet wide. Can I move it with these sliders?

I use my sliders for everything. I personally would give it a try with your hutch. They make life so much easier.

It says these sliders work on all surfaces will they work on cement and tile floors?

Wouldn't hold up if your cement is unpolished like a side walk or most patios or drive ways. They might not do well in rough even though polished cement. Tile probably would work if smooth. But I have had rough surfaced tile and again I doubt they would work well with that. Again might hold up for a single move but the plastic if surface of cement or tile is rough likely will wear out quickly. As far as the cloth booties go Not sure. I made years ago these very thick upolstery velvet pillow covers. Eventually I didn't like them as a pillow cover and when moving I ended up using them as floor pad protectors to move my really heavy furniture about. To this day 22 years later I am still using those pads which were 20 x 26 inches. Thus double sided ultra thick and often bridges between 2 furniture legs like a metal framed ultra heavy real marble table. I need to move that 3-4 times a year when acrylic polishing my floors. So the answer really is maybe maybe not. I haven't used these on rough cement. I wouldn't probably in my basement either which is polished but a lot of nichs and not so smooth areas. But for my hardwood floors they are wonderful and vinyl flooring too.

Will they work on a very heavy wood bed on thick carpet?
