I had no idea these things were called "balaclavas" when I originally set out to buy one. I wanted an open-face, stand-alone hood to keep my head, neck, and ears warm during all the crazy, dangerous adventures I go on. Okay...that's not true. The truth is, I really wanted it to keep my head, neck, and ears warm while I sleep...in my bed...in my house. My head gets chilly in the winter months and I have trouble sleeping with cold ears. Before the balaclava, I was wearing a full-on sweatshirt hoodie, which worked well, but it was too bulky. I needed something less bulky and more versatile...open-face, stand-alone hood! The internet helped me realize I was looking for a "balaclava"! I shopped around a bunch and wasn't completely satisfied with what I saw. Eventually, I found this one from Fast Mile, read the description and reviews, and was sold. I bought the 2-pack here on Amazon and received it a few days later. It's well made and works like a charm! You can comfortably wear it many different ways. It's made of polyester and is roughly as thick as a standard moisture-wicking, polyester athletic t-shirt. Perfect for keeping my ears warm. My wife thinks I’m weird for sleeping in this thing, but I know she’s just jealous that this product is helping me sleep like a wizard. The good news for her is that, since this is a 2-pack, I've got an extra one that she can wear if her ears ever get cold. 5 stars!

If you need a face mask, this is one of the best in the market! These masks are simply flawless. Made of thin polyester fabric and I can breathe out it really well. Multiple ways to wear! I could see using this in cold or warm weather conditions. I can use it now for more chilly evenings outside but this will definitely make my life a lot more comfortable when the temperature is around zero! Perfect, just as described and exactly like their other products as far as quality.Seller's customer service is absolutely amazing! They checked in with me several times if I was fine with my products. I feel really pleased by their attention.

Good fit and decent quality, especially for the price. Let me say this right up front. I tend to get cold easily. For me, this is not for really cold weather. The material is thin and, unless you're very hot blooded or generating a lot of heat while exercising, this won't be warm enough. I wear it under my bike helmet where it fits really well due to the thin fabric but, on a really cold day, my head does get cold. If you tend to get overheated when exercising this might be just the ticket.

Product seems OK, although be aware that the material is VERY VERY thin - this is only useful as a windbreak, not for warmth. And, be warned - the seller spams you with repeated emails wanting a review, and there is no link to stop them from sending you further unwanted correspondence. So, here's a review.

This item was delivered as expected with no trouble. The balaclava is nice, light-weight, space-saving and feels good giving great warmth for the weight. The extra neck tube was unexpected, but I really like it. The balaclava will be good for all weather in California. I can retire my polar fleece hat which was much bulkier and too warm. I am going backpacking and now I have to decide whether to take the neck tube of the balaclava. The neck tube is versitile. It can be just a head or wrist band. It can cover the neck, but it also can stretch from neckline to top ob head and cover mouth and nose. So, there you have it.

The ski mask is not very soft, and a little irritating on my face compared to a cotton mask I bought at Walmart. The neck warmer is better/softer than the mask, but again, not the softest material. They will work, and the price was okay for $12 for two items, but I would rather spend a few extra bucks for a better brand like Carhartt. These are thin, so they work fine if it's not too cold, but I would not buy them again when there are softer ones available for practically the same price.

I ordered this to warm my air intake from the sub zero temperatures in the high mountains of Colorado. I slip the neck tube over my nose (barely because too much will cause my glasses to fog). It has done its job well. I haven't used the face mask yet so can't rate it.I just recently bot a second neck tube, love it. We spend a lot of time on the Central Coast of California where the temperatures are often in the mid 40's to mid 50's. Wind is usually strong so I tried the neck tube to see how it worked in this cool, windy, humid climate. Again, it has done its job well. I don't use the face mask and would rather have 2 neck tubes for the same price than one of each.

Bought it for my Kylo Ren Costume. Works great for covering up the neck and matches his neck covering well. It could double as a ninja mask too. Also planning on using it when I bike to school in the winter so my face doesn't freeze. The fabric is comfortable, breathable and warm. It seems very durable too!
