This is first assignment, so you got the idea of concept.On first page you will see first what kind of thinking is required for this problem 💡 then you have how many points will you get if you solve the problem - that is equivalent to the level of problem ( here is medium)I love illustration and simplicity of the problems presented. Each problem has 3-4 steps to solve it.I also like that solution is presented on the same page but covered.I would say that is intended for 7-12 years old but it is clever so even adult can learn something, so it is great for family night or detective them party, or car ride.

We are a homeschool family and I use this to get my kids’ minds going and introduce them to logic. Some mysteries are really easy and some are more difficult. (And some are far fetched). Each mystery is illustrated and rated on its difficulty. My kids are 9, 12, and 13 and they have solved a few on their own, but most of them I’ve had to give clues. I’d recommend this book!

I bought this as a gift for my daughter. It is cute and great to do together. The lift flap for the answer is fun. The puzzles are challenging.

I LOVE this book! It quickly became a nightly routine that I shared with my son (8), to read a few mysteries and use either logic or imagination to solve the riddle. Some were actually tough for me but plenty were within reach of a child.

I bought this book when looking for some fun stuff to do with the family during covid. I was searching for a mystery/puzzle book and came across this one. The illustrations are adorable and alone make the book worthwhile. The mysteries, however, all sounded pretty familiar and were hard to solve -- even the ones that were dubbed most challenging. We were able to figure out most of the puzzles in a couple of minutes. I would say this book would be more fun for kids under 12, definitely not for teens and adults who are looking for a bit more challenge.

I bought this for my 10 year old. The whole family loves trying to solve the mysteries. It's a lot of fun! I initially thought it'd be a good car travel book, but we loved it so much we flew through it in a week! We will probably put it away for now then take it back out next year and resolve! I would recommend.

Bought this for my 7 year old grandson. We read one mystery at night when he spends the night with me. We both look forward to it and it's a good ending to fun days. I recommend this book!

Bought this book for my 7 year old (almost 8) to read on a trip. He LOVED it, LOVED it! And so did I! This is exactly the kind of thing that I would have liked as a kid who loved mysteries. My son could not put this book down, we did one mystery together before the trip and he didn’t want to stop. I’m so happy with this purchase, I love the illustrations, I will probably buy the others in this series. I also like how it helps children listen to details in a story, practice recall and apply critical thinking skills. I think this could be a fun activity for teachers to use, it’s perfect for 2nd graders. I want to thank the author for making these books. I work at a publishing company so I appreciate how much time went into a book like this. Thank you again.

This book is so engaging for my 8yr old son and 11yr old daughter. As a family we have enjoyed trying to solve these riddle mysteries. Great layout, one mystery a page and really detailed pictures. Recommended as a change from video games and screens.

I don’t agree that this book is appropriate for family to read and solve together. I should have paid closer attention or read some more reviews. I purchased for my seven year old but now need to return. There are many more mystery and puzzling topics that could have been chosen over murder.
