Autoglym Polar Blaster Foaming Cannon

If you take your car cleaning seriously, the Autoglym Polar Blaster is an absolute essential. I’ve tried a few different snow foam lances over the years, but this one feels like it’s in a completely different league. Why it’s a winner: Build Quality: Right out of the box, you can tell this isn't a cheap plastic knock-off. It’s heavy-duty, sturdy, and the brass fittings feel like they’ll last for years. The "Shaving Cream" Foam: When paired with Autoglym Polar Blast, the foam is incredibly thick and clingy. It stays on the car long enough to actually break down the dirt, which makes the contact wash so much safer for the paintwork. Adjustability: The spray pattern and foam thickness are super easy to dial in. You can go from a wide fan for the side panels to a concentrated stream for the wheel arches with a quick twist. Compatibility: It hooked up to my pressure washer perfectly with zero leaks, which is a rare win for aftermarket attachments. The Verdict: It turns a chore into a hobby. There is something deeply satisfying about blanketing your car in thick white foam, and the Polar Blaster does it better than anything else I’ve used. It’s a bit of an investment, but for the results you get, it’s worth every penny.

I'm a first time user and found it produced thick clinging foam when used with Autoglym Polar Blast foam at the recommended dilution rate of 1: and did a great job of loosening the dirt. Followed by Polar Wash to produce a very clean car. Slight issue with the adapter which wouldn't fit my Karcher K4 washer lance handle, but just removing 2mm from the locking lug thickness sorted that.

Not one for doing reviews, but I had to put my thoughts out there for anyone trying to decide. After getting my dream bike and giving it's first wash with the supplied kit of the pressure washer, I wasn't impressed at all with the foam cannon. After looking around and seeing reviews, I decided on the Autoglym as it looked the best. Certainly not the cheapest, but the build is outstanding when compared with all the others, and it looks like it will last. Used it with the Polar foam, and it is amazing with a really thick foam that hangs exactly as you see in the videos. Also, I got the sealer, and it does exactly what it says. The finished results are outstanding, and I can't recommend the products enough. I only use the metal quick release, but it does come with a Kartcher attachment, but I can't really comment on that. Like I said, not the cheapest but absolutely worth it.

Ordered this at the end of 2021 and have used every weekend since. The Polar Blast is great, gives a nice thick foam into the car and does help as a pre-wash to breakdown and remove some of the loose dirt and grim - one thing to note is this isn't a 'miracle' product that means you will never need a contact wash, and to get the best performance make sure the car has not been pre-rinsed. Maybe I have just been lucky but a lot of the 'issues' in the reviews seem to be misunderstanding the purpose or the product or user error. I would also suggest leaving the product on the car a little longer than the instructions suggest. The Polar Wash is also fantastic, with a similar consistency to the Polar Blast, not much more to say other than make sure to only work on one side of the car at a time on hot days. The Polar Seal blew me away with how easy it is to use, adding some decent shine and hydrophobicity to the bodywork - this takes a few washes to 'build up' the seal on the car and would suggest doing every week for 3-4 weeks before pushing out to monthly. I would also suggest leaving the product on for a little longer than instructed and so far have not had issues spraying onto the windscreen. As a collection (I see this as a 'trial pack') this is very nice however the volumes from each do not make sense - you will run out of the Polar Wash before the Polar Blast or Polar Seal. The foam cannon itself is easy to use and has good performance, however I have never not used it on the max foam setting, and the nozzle is set to the widest possible. My only disappointment with the product was the adaptor that is used to attach this to any Karcher gun has now failed and water pressure is dipping making the foam cannon is currently unusable - I plan to find an alternative adaptor that is more robust as I do not have faith that a replacement from Autoglym will perform any better. Overall fairly impressed with the performance and ease of use, but definitely room for improvement in the hardware and tweaking volumes.

Well made quality product with brass connections, heavy duty bottle using Autoglym foam a dense coverage was achievable

Feels well made, bottle is sturdy plastic and doesn't feel like it will deform easily. Unions on the connector between the pressure wash and the bottle are well machined. Fits my Karcher K4, but needs a little more postive action / force to clear the spring loaded collars than the Karcher OEM attachments. Assembly is easy (there's a clear YouTube video) and works fine with Bild Hamer snowfoam.

Mijn bedoeling was om zowel champoo als foomkanon van hetzelfde merk te kopen. Willen ze de champoo toch wel niet leveren zeker. Bon, op zich werkt het wel , maar of het nu echt woveel beter is en dus zijn meerprijs waard is ten opzichte van de goedkopere modellen en merken ? Ik twijfel daar toch aan en zou aanraden om voor de mid-range te gaan bv regio 30 euro.

I have not used it yet, but could not hold it to come and write about the item itself. It is built like a tank! The quality and materials used feels bullet proof! The entire construction above the cap is from very strong and thick metal. I will edit this review after I use the actual foam.

This product used with the AutoGlym Snow blaster, Produces some of the very best thick foam which dwells for a much longer than other brands. Rinse off and reapply the snow foam, rinsing again. Dry with a Green Works 47v blower. The whole operation is totally contactless avoiding swirls, marring and scratching. The process is much quicker, less effort, a professional result that cannot be matched. Remember, this is on high end vehicles which undergo this treatment at least twice per week and low mileages.

I have a Karcher K4 Compact pressure washer, and this Autoglym foam cannon produces a lot of thick foam with it. In the box, an adapter for Karcher K pressure washers is included. The Autoglym foam cannon is sturdy, and the plastic used is high-quality.
