I have been using lavender oil for several years to relax and rest at night. I put it on my pulse points and on my neck just before bedtime. However, this is the first time I have used this brand. I love it and find, as others have, that it is superior to other brands. After reading the comments of other customers, I plan to make use of it in other ways. This will definitely be my go to brand when I need to replenish my supply.

This is a beautiful, happy, calming lavender. I was so impressed with the smell being light and with no nasty chemicals in it. I'm sick of smelling what are sometimes called essential oils. If they smell exactly the same every one you get, then something is wrong. Essential oils are like us no one is exactly like the other.I have used this Lavender for my skin in almond carrier oil and it's just so wonderful for the skin. I love it in the shower, add a few drops to your hand or facecloth just before you turn off the water. Then use the cloth to lightly cover your whole body ( not mucus membranes and definitely not your eyes, it burns) otherwise just touch your skin with the cloth. It's magic really. I take a drop and put it in my hand as I get out of the shower, rub my hands together and dab it into my hair and on my face and neck. It's so magical.I really like this lavender. Try it and you can't be sorry.I received no discount or anything for this review I simply want to share a beautiful essential oil. I'm an RN and I use essential oils in my nursing practice and I recommend it for people who are ill or wanting to maintain their good health. Use essential oils and make sure your gut is ok.

I actually purchased this as a recommendation from my vet to combat a horrendous flea problem. All the expensive doggie treatments just weren't working so she recommended going holistic to see what would happen. The lavender is supposed to make the dog's blood taste so horrendous that the fleas would leave. Well, it doesn't work. Fleas still around... BUT having used essential oils many times in the past, I now use it to freshen my throw rugs all over the house (the scent combats the all too common "doggy" smell that can build up on the rugs sometimes). A few drops on each rug every few days actually beats the need to keep buying those expensive Glad air fresheners! So, my doggie is still fighting with the fleas, but my house smells wonderful for a lot less money. :-)

Delivery came as promised. The fragrance is wonderful. I have not used it on myself yet, but will. My original reason for buying it:On a couple of episodes, Cesar Millan used lavender oil on his hands to relax a high energy dog. Since I have two high energy Welsh Terriers, I have started putting a drop on their collars to relax them when out for walks. So far, it has worked. I am going to start using it for myself at night to see if I get a relaxing sleep.

Great company, very personal and really fast shipping! This lavender is a little more "earthy" than what I think most people are used to. However, I am not sure most people are aware of how many varieties of lavender there are. I have lavender in my front yard that has a delightful eucalyptus scent and my backyard lavender is super floral and sweet. I love the scent, I think it's perfect for taking baths, I feel grounded and relaxed every time. I have a large bathtub and bathroom so I add 8-12 drops each time and it's divine. I shower after each bath and I my friends and family can smell a hint of lavender on me usually. I will continue to purchase my EO from this company. Enjoy!

When reviewing different Lavender oils, I came across someone who indicated that you should be sure to get the species "officinalis". I would agree. Rather than just a weak floral scent, you get more of a plant scent (earthier and more pleasing). I use this on the soles of my feet at night to help with sleep. It is very relaxing.The one problem that I have with all of these essential oils bottles (regardless of brand): they do not dispense easily and some of the oil rolls down the sides of the bottle, and once opened, they will leak if not upright.

This oil is very concentrated, unlike some that are diluted. I like to place a drop or two on my palm, lightly rub my hands together, then rub the oil onto my pillow, under the pillow case. The scent is crisp and clean and so relaxing.
