Outry Tactical Military Shoulder Bag, Chest and Back Sling Backpack - 4 Carrying Options

Because I needed a smaller pack to carry around the essentials during my short hikes, I selected this shoulder pack in the tactical "typhoon black" color. The colors of this particular pack appear brighter in the photo than they are in real life, which I was actually happy to see. Instead of having whitish to medium gray color spectrum as pictured in the photo, the real pack's colors range from medium gray to dark gray. With these darker colors, there is better chance any dirt on the bag will get camouflaged.The pack comes with two straps for wearing it as a backpack, but I prefer to use only one of the straps over my shoulder. In addition to the two main compartments with smaller subdivided pouches within, the pack has additional pouches on both sides (front and back) of the exterior. Needless to say, this pack has pouches galore. The several attached plastic loops on the exterior provide additional carrying capacity for small attachments. A nice touch is the padded backing of the pack for a comfortable carrying experience.Being made of thick and dense material, I foresee the pack lasting a very long time. I can't find a single shortcoming to complain about.

I would probably actually give this a 4.5 if I could, but I will give it the full stars. It is very well built. First off, it looks awesome (I got the black and gray). There are multiple hookups for the straps meaning you can wear it basically anyway you want. It is a little smaller than I was expecting (a little bit smaller than my 13in MacBook pro) There are 3 main compartments plus a pouch. This was not my original intention, but I realize upon purchase this will make a great first aid kit. Two small containers could fit into the two big compartments and smaller items in the third. There's pen holders which will double as scissors/instrument holders for the kit. The pouch is also nice because I have a small camelbak like water pouch that will fit right in it. One zipper was a little weird when I got the product, but after zipping it it has fixed itself and I haven't had a problem. My biggest complaint is that the straps are too long. I tightened one all the way so I could wear it one-strapped but the straps wouldn't tighten all the way. This is a sweet little backpack/chestpack/messinger bag! It's very well built and has lots of zippered pockets! I got the all black one. I bought it with the hopes of being able to put my phone, iPad and laptop in it for work. Unfortunately it was too small for the laptop. That's the only reason it got 4 stars. Other than that it'a great bag and I have already found it very usefull!

I bought this bag in Typhoon Black, I think the pattern looks pretty good on this. Kind of like kryptek pattern. This bag would make a good day pack, as it is small and non-obtrusive. The two main pockets are large, and there are three slots for pens or small flashlights also. I like that it can be carried as a backpack with two straps, so it basically disappears on your backside because of its small size.Not really suitable for laptops, but would be great to hold tablets, kindles, ipads and the like. Room for extra chargers, batteries and even a small first aid kit to get you through the day!It would be nice if there was some velcro patches on the front so you could add your patches and customize it! Get the black version of this bag if you want something very discrete to carry around town.

I like the size of the bag.and the compartments.I can easily put all my gear in it. The only issue is the zippers. They catch and drag each time I open or close the bag. The zippers are not very smooth when opening or closing each compartment. Time will tell...

This is a fantastic bag! Purchased it for use on weekends, etc when we're hiking or on day trips for the convenience of it. Now I find myself using it daily! It's so functional - has a place for everything. Construction is fantastic - and it's in a Kryptek print! I love it!

This bag is perfect for hiking or having to carry small items on trips. Originally I used it on my day trip to Disneyland, with enough pockets for cell phones, snacks, tickets, sunglasses and various other items. It's size allows you to carry it around without having to carry something bulky. The bag itself is well made with heavy duty zippers and heavy stitching keeping it together. I found that when I am not using carry strap it was easy to stowaway. I am going to buy another bag and use it to carry emergency items in my vehicle. Again with so many pockets it is easy to stock up on necessary items and it's size allows it to easily be placed away without having to consume much room. If you enjoy theme parks, hiking or just places where you need to walk a lot I highly recommend this bag for you. It will allow you to carry a lot of items without a lot of bulk.

This is exactly the bag I was looking for when I bought a similar MOLLE pack about a year ago. This model has several features that I believe make it better suited for urban use. First, the bag is taller and easily accommodates the water bottle that was a struggle to fit into the other design. It features several large compartments rather than an assortment of smaller pockets. This pack allows for several methods of carry; backpack, shoulder sling, and simple handle. The overall build quality is way better than the typical MOLLE pack - starting with the zipper pulls, which are almost certain not to fail as the others have. The fabric seems more sturdy, and less like textured plastic. I recently discovered that the front pocket on this pack will easily accommodate a small (8-9 inch) tablet computer or ebook reader. This pack is a great deal for the price being asked.

Nice little bag.Arrived very quick and seems to be quite well made (only the test of time will tell, as I've found in the past these cheaper bags made in China tend to have poor quality zips).However, this is ideal for me for taking round town on a citybreak, as it will easily fit my camera, tablet, baseball cap, and a few other bits and pieces.The only thing I would have preferred is a thicker and padded strap, but otherwise for the price I'm really quite pleased.

Good product, well made, durable, plenty of pockets and very good value. Like the multiple carrying options, hand bag, shoulder bag or rucksack. Personally I wish it had solid tabs on the zippers which would make opening and closing easier instead of just the cord - but it's a small issue. Overall - highly recommended.

Well designed and sturdy. Used every day on trips around Italy. Ideal to carry a tablet, waterproof, glasses, water, passport etc.

Ideal size for a day bag - neither too big nor too small. Loads of separate spaces to store stuff - good for someone as disorganised as I am. Quality is reasonable, and as good as you might reasonably expect given the price, therefore good value for money in my opinion. Delivery was very quick.
