Lancashire Textiles Orthopaedic Batwing Shaped Neck & Back Support Pillow for Help with Cushioning and Sitting Complete with White Removable Pillowcase

I have a very bad back and a few discs have gone in my lower back. My physio said I needed a cushion behind me in my chair to give me better posture because I can’t stand up for long as I’ve also had a stroke and lost the use in my left side. I used to have a v pillow but I thought I would try one of these and I’m really glad I have, it is ever so comfortable and it stops me from slouching in my chair, and it has helped ease the pain in my back too. Over all I think for what it is the price was well worth it.

I chose this batwing design because it looked like would be comfy and meet my needs perfectly and it does, so far. I can't give 5 stars because I don't know how long it's going to stay 'puffed up' but it feels like it won't flatten out any time soon. The pillowcase it comes with is very easy to put on because there is a nice long zip on one side which creates a good sized opening to get the pillow into. Worth the money so far so I'd say give it a try

Ordered this for my ninety-four-year-old dad who was suffering from neck pain due to arthritis. He says it is supper comfortable on his chair and has helped with his neck pain. Due to medical problems my dad must stay propped up in bed and can't lie flat, he normally uses extra standard pillows but having found this pillow comfortable on the chair/settee in the living room, he decided to have another one to keep on the bed. He says it gives him the support he needs and is very comfortable to sleep with. Only negative is the tiny zip opening for the cover, this makes it extremely difficult to get the cover over the pillow and unless you really take your time then the zip can easily be broken on the cover, which is very thin, and flimsy given the price. Ideally the cover should either be a thicker cotton and with a longer zip opening. Pillow is well made but the removable cover quality does let it down a little given the price. However, based on my dad's comments he says he would recommend. Afterall, he doesn't have to fit and/or remove and refit the cover.

Brought this for post surgery as I was only allowed to sleep on back (previously a belly sleeper). To begin with this was a dream and so comfy, enabling me to easily get the back sleep required, however after only a couple days use all plumpness had gone and pillow became flat. No amount of replumping, washing, shaking has brought it back to life. Extremely disappointed, if the initial comfort lasted this would have been perfect.

Great support for the back from the neck to the base of the spine great comfort, great for pain relief, great quality, ease to use, well worth the money.

Exceptional! Was a bit sceptical in buying this for post operation. As a little more expensive than a V pillow. But I love it, gives me the support and elevation I require post operation. Normally I sleep in front but this has provided me with maximum comfort and stability while sleeping to ensure I do not move around. Would recommend 100%

Think this is for a slighterbprrson. Bought for my bedridden husband but not giving him the support he needs. Quality good will keep for grandchild red n gaming in bed.
