U.S. Tape 54533 1 inch by 33 foot Carpenter's Measuring Tape

I used a tape measure at work a minimum of 200 times a day sometimes 7 days a week. This is one of the better tapes I’ve used. The end of the tape will start to twist at tge hook after a while but nowhere near as bad as the Stanley or dewalt tapes. I get about 6 months of use out of these before the coil spring messes up instead the tape. I get maybe two moths of use from most tape measures

Excellent tape but no metric like you would expect because it's 33' (@10m). Could use a bottom lock but okay as is. Feels really good in the hand when using it. excellent value for the money.Edit; After using it for a couple of years, this tape has really grown on me. The body is much stronger than it seems. I have dropped it numerous times and it is still perfect. Not a single crack or problem. Still wish it had metric though.

These days, it’s hard to find quality tools with the words “made in USA” on them. This is one of those tools everyone should have. This tape measure is about as solid as a lead brick, and smooth as silk with the tape going out and in. QUALITY TOOL, I am actually elated by this and I will buy a tape from this company forever: well worth the 10 bucks.
