Got O2?
Bought these O2 bottles for a 24 hour endurance charity ride. I believe that they helped me recover more quickly. If temperature is above 90 degrees Fahrenheit then the O2 may not dispense from the container. Keep it out of the sun and hot temperatures.

Hard to open
I have unfortunately have had to order many of these boost oxygen canisters. But the above ones are extremely difficult to open! They usually come with a yellow tag as to pull it up to open them. This time I had to use a scissors and I almost punctured the canisters. Just make sure if you order these that they have the yellow tag.

This is not how it works.
How much molecular oxygen (O2) can dissolve into your blood depends on the partial pressure of oxygen and its degree of solubility. In other words, how much oxygen you have and how easily it can dissolve into your blood. More oxygen, more pressure, more oxygen in your blood, right? To an extent. This is limited oxygen's solubility. Which is garbage. Out of all the oxygen we use for respiration, only about 2% can dissolve into our blood - a number that cannot be easily pushed higher without increasing pressures to the point your blood vessels burst, then you certainly won't be needing this product. So how do we get more oxygen into our blood? Hemoglobin. It's a protein that's abundant in our red blood cells and works to transport oxygen around the body because it dissolves so poorly by itself into blood. Now, most of us who are not chronically ill with respiratory or cardiac conditions, have an oxygen saturation level of 95% to 100%. That is, the hemoglobins in your red blood cells are 95 - 100% filled up with oxygen. Sure, you can push more oxygen in, but it doesn't make clinical difference at that point. Moreover, once you've fully saturated your hemoglobin with oxygen like a soaked towel, no more will get in. So if you're, for example, an athlete that takes Boost right after a workout, if you're already at 95 - 100% O2 sat, this isn't going to do much. It certainly won't speed up aerobic metabolism or clear out lactic acid any faster. So when is supplemental oxygen helpful? Again, in illness where your O2 sat has dropped below what your body requires. But at that point you should have physician oversight because, believe it or not, too much oxygen therapy in the setting of illness can cause hypoventilation. Fun fact: athletes who "blood dope" increase the production of red blood cells, and therefore the amount of hemoglobin in order to improve functioning. Anyway, this doesn't work for what you think it does. It's pseudoscience. The claims sound legit, but it doesn't work like that. The best lies are always based in truth.
