Thought I'd save by buying just the factory crimp die by itself but decided to get the whole 4 die set for back up. The 5 stars just for the factory crimp die. Stars: * Crimp die is a must for fail safe. You taken precision venues to set the proper bullet seating. Reduce the chance for bullet dislodge due to recoil. * Easy to set crimp level - 1/2 turn for mild crimp, that's all it takes. Use 1 full turn if needed. * The price is right for the set * Comes with shell holder * Bullet seat die and Crimp die are separate Strike - Bullet seating die insert is for round bullets. Use RCBS die with Hollow point insert for Hornady XTP and Speer GDHP bullets

These work really good

Not having to lube the cases saves a lot of time. I’ve used this for set to load about 500 rounds and I’ve not had any issues with this set. Just like my other Lee sets— this has got what you need. I’m not a huge fan of the collet style decapping pin retainer, because I feel I’m always tightening them down. However, it does avoid bending or breaking the pin of I hit a off-center flash hole.

So just bought a Ruger 357. The guns are now available, but the ammo in 38 special +P and 357 is expensive and rare. I already reload. Purchased these dies and reloaded about 350 rounds of 38 special +P and 357 mag. My accuracy is outstanding and my cost is about one dollar less per round than store bought ammo in 357. For 38 Special +P its about $1.20 per round less than store bought ammo. The best part is: I have quality ammunition when none is available.

I really like Lee Dies and buy them almost exclusively. I am hoping these dies will work out as well. I have never had an issue and really appreciate the crimp die that is included. I took a star off due to the sloppy and unforgivable packaging of the product by Sportsman Supply. The dies arrived out the plastic container and rolling around the cardboard shipping box. A couple of them were scuffed and scratched. I inspected them closely and feel they will function fine. All it would have taken was a couple of pieces of tape on the plastic box or some packing pillows or paper in the box to keep movement at bay. Thoughtless packing for sure.
