These are great for outdoor events. They are very large in size, and I think the quality is way better than some I've had! They are a great value, as keeping flies off your food is priceless right? They are easy to use and breakdown! Really love these!

These little nets are exactly what I was looking for - a lightweight, compact food cover to take with me on camping trips and picnics. The only reason why I'm not giving them five stars is that two of the five nets required maintenance from me before they could be used. One small net was missing a pull cord, which I made using some embroidery floss and a spare wooden bead I had on hand. Another small net had an incompletely sewn seam which I whip stitched together to close the gap. I'm a pretty crafty person and had these problems fixed in about five minutes. The top cap which locks the net onto the rest of the frame can screw off, in case you need to do any sort of maintenance like I did. The framework for these works fine and the design is rather clever. If you don't mind a little DIY, these are perfectly fine and I'm sure I'll be happily using them for years to come. If you're looking for something that will be 100% perfect out of the box, you might be gambling a little with these.

Keeps flies off the food

These are great when they work correctly. The first one I opened, it didn’t pop open correctly, so it wouldn’t shut. I threw it away. So far, the second one I opened, closed correctly. I like them, very good at keeping flies off food.

Ok, now, these things are great. I used them at an outdoor potluck party. Obviously they won't work for ants if your food is on the ground. However, as long as your food is on a table you won't ever have to worry about any flies or flying insect landing on it. The cloth is soft and breathable and will withstand regular use. If you are going to really yank on the cloth like a muscle man, then obviously even a child will be able to tear it. Just use it the way that it is meant to be used and they will last you a long time. Before buying these for this potluck, everyone was always waving their hands around trying to keep the flies off of the food. Everyone that brought a dish was very happy that I had these. I bought a bunch of them. I highly recommend them.
