My favorite out of the rescue bots
My 3.5 year old's rescue bot collection is nearly complete... partially due to my own interest in playing along with them. In my son's eyes he likes them all... the newest one he likes most. Here is a list of the order of my favorites and why:1. Blades - blades is the only one that has a moving object (propeller) and also is the only non-ground bot, so it's fun to have him a part of any collection to change things up. He's also very easy to transform and his transformation looks good.2. Heatwave - this was the first one we bought and was a great one to start off with. The way the ladder pulls up to transform is very creative and cool. fire engines are cool and a must for rescuing, so Blades and Heatwave together are really all that's needed to make the perfect rescue. His transformability can be difficult for a young one because the arms don't always want to stay down without holding them both down at once.3. Hoist - when heatwave pops a tire or gets stuck it's nice to have hoist around to pull him out of trouble. Hoist also looks pretty bad-ass and bulky as a robot. His tranformability is similar to Heatwave.4. Medic - medic is the only one that has a button that activates the transformation. I think as a robot he looks pretty silly, but he's useful to have when someone gets hurt5. Chase - not always able to incorporate him in our playing. My son really wanted him, but after getting him he didn't get a whole lot of time with him like he did with the others.6. Boulder - super easy to transform, which makes it kind of boring but good for a 2 year old. He doesn't really help out much except for pushing things off our coffee table that I keep telling my son to leave alone.* Dinobot - my son just got the Heatwave dinobot for xmas. It doesn't transform, but my son loves it. It makes noise, which is pretty darn annoying, but it sure entertains him. I didn't think it would be as fun due to not transforming, but it's fun to use as an accessory to our missions. All in all, every one of these are made very well, will last through lots of toddler abuse, fun to take in the bath, and are entertaining.

Great gift for a 4 year old!
I picked this up for my grandson after seeing one. They are great for the age and seem durable and it’s a good size for little hands. The arms and pieces move easily.

Great toy
My son asked for this for his birthday and was so thrilled when he received it. His cousin has one just like it and it has held up well. He turned 5 and plays with it well the size is good for his small hands, great gift and very sturdy.

Blades is a wonderful toy!
I am so happy to be Prime Member. I ordered 3 Rescue Bots two days ago and they were on my doorstep by noon. I knew that I would have two of my grandsons today. Each week we have been watching Transformers on our Firestick and it is an obsession. Now I have MOTU, TMNT, and GI Joe - with ALL vehicles, weapons, castles and assorted accessories from the 80s, but not ONE Transformer. Upon much begging for weeks, I caved and ordered them. I let the boys, ages 2 and 4, accompany me to the mailbox this day. Of course when the oldest saw the Amazon box his face lit up and wanted to know if I had bought anything for him. I told him I forgot what I ordered and of course he believed that because Gram always forgets things. the items were boxed so well, as usual, that I had to cut through two boxes to get to them. The screaming excitement was deafening but wonderful to behold. Of course the 4 year old tossed the directions aside and declared he didn't need anyone to help him figure out these toys. He let his brother pick first and they shared the remainder of the day until they were picked up. I had to let them borrow them as toys I get at my house stay for all the grandchildren. I am also a library for toys. Lots of borrowing and returning. I hope these find their way back to my home as I feel they are well made and easy to transform, colorful toys. I do feel that they may be overpriced for the 6 1/2 size but if the market can command such a price, this is free commerce. I will be on the look out for sale prices on these in the future. Great product.

Propeller is too long and doesn’t spin well
Got this for my 4 year old son. It feels more durable than some of the other rescue bot toys we have bought and transforms easily, but the propeller needs to be up about an 1/8th inch taller off the top of the helicopter to spin right. As it is it doesn’t quite clear the tail rudder/feet of the bot and so spins horribly. I tried to bend the propeller ends up a little which helps but doesn’t eliminate the problem. If it spun right I would give 5 stars because my son loves it and it seems sturdier than some of the other playskool rescue bot toys.

This gets the "Most Played With Toys Award" at Grandma's. Get them all!!
The Rescue Bots are definitely a favorite with the grandkids. They watch the movies over and over. I have purchased all of the different transformers and will leave the same review for all of them. There is definitely a favorite Rescue Bot and that is surprisingly the Fire Truck Heat Wave. With that being said, they have enjoyed ALL of them and it seems you need all of them (according to the kids anyway!). These are easily transformed by the little ones 2 years old and up. Usually transforms in about two or three moves. These transformers are by far the " most played with toy" at Grandma's. Make sure when you purchase these that they include the "blue crystal weapon" as shown (and they are all different weapons depending on the Hero). The ones with the "blue crystal weapon" are a good size and well made. Some others don't transform and are tiny when you get them. I make purchases on Amazon ONLY after reading reviews... so I hope this review helps.

So easy to transform!
My 5 yr old can easily transform this from a robot to the helicopter. I’ve purchased off brand transformer before that break easily and are not user friendly. It’s perfect for his age and is built well!
