If you have an embroidery machine that uses a usb drive and you are constantly putting the USB in and out, then BUY ONE OF THESE! My USB slot was getting loose from frequent use so I changed out to this. I would rather replace this extension cord than have my embroidery machine repaired! no kidding, this is a MUST-BUY for the health of your machine. And yes, I use a lanyard for my USB since I am prones to misplacing them. The lanyard makes that just a little harder to do!

I get random disconnects when the cable is merely touched on accident. There is also some issue where I can’t plug into an USB port right next to another USB port and my drive will disconnect like crazy constantly unless I unplug it to try a different port. I tested with a different cable in the same port and no issues came up. Two stars because it’s a right angle that I like but that’s the only redeeming quality.
