Solutions, Cocoa Butter, Multi-Purpose Skin Moisturizer, Natural Moisture for the Whole Body, 7-Ounce

I just love, love, love the smell of this product! It is so wonderful! I am a bit embarrassed to say this, but the smell of this Cocoa butter is like an Aphrodisiac to my senses. I was rubbing some on my mate and the next thing you know, we had to get busy because the smell of it was just really arousing to me. I can't explain it.. No other product (not Shea butter, not almond butter, not coconut oil, not jojoba oil, etc) has this type of effect on my olfactory senses as does the smell of this Cocoa Butter. I will admit, this stuff is hard as a rock. There is absolutely no way that you think you are going to open this and stick your fingers in it to grab some. Not happening. Since the weather is cold right now I use a little space heater and I just sit it in front of the heater (about 12 to 15 inches) on a book and when I am ready to use it in the morning, it's good to go. When it's melted it is very runny so be careful not to get the stuff into your carpet because it will get rock hard and you'll have a hard time removing it. Despite all that, I will definitely buy this again! Update 10.25.13 I've found an effective way to keep this product from getting rock hard. For a couple of months now, I've been mixing the Cocoa Butter with Now Organic Coconut Oil and its has definitely solved the rock hard problem of this product.I usually mix 1/3 to 1/2 coconut oil with this jar of cocoa butter and it becomes a smooth and creamy consistency that you can dip out with your fingers. If you are interested in trying this out, you will have to find the perfect ratio of cocoa butter to coconut oil to suit your preference, but it does work great.

I bough this to be used in some personal body products I am in the process of creating. The significant other and I had found a product we like, one that does not irritate my sensitive skin, but it's hard to find and costly to have shipped in from across the pond. I got a list of the ingredients and decided to make my own version. I know the benefits of using raw butters and oils outweigh those of their refined brethren but since we'll be using it in a delicate place I had to be sure there was nothing funny left in it as can sometimes happen with the unprocessed types. Sure, some would claim that the processing of it is more likely to leave residue traces behind but NOW does not use Hexane in their refinement, says so right on the bottle. I'm not normally one to believe packaging since companies can claim almost anything and get away with it but I have other NOW products and have always been pleased with the quality. From what I have bought and read, they seem to be a company that doesn't want to try to slip something past its consumers. Great cocoa butter, smells devine - feels even better. Skin is smooth and hydrated without feeling greasy. I love chocolate and now I get to smell like it!

So I bought this a few months ago and I was excited for a food safe moisturizer that I could use even when I'm in the kitchen. Unfortunately since day one it was a lumpy, chunky tub if funky smelling stuff. I've used it a few times and it's decent as far as moisturizing, but it's just smells so bad. Just recently I used it around my wife and she took a whiff and asked why I was using rancid coco butter. I just assumed that the raw stuff a didn't have that super chocolatey smell that the processed lotions do, but apparently the tub I received was bad before it even made it into my hands.

I'm pregnant, and I bought this to put on whenever I felt itchy, in an effort to avoid stretch marks. So far, so good. I also love the smell, and find that it goes on well, and makes my skin feel nice. It loses one star because it's so difficult to get out of the container. I've been sort of scrapping it with my nails, and leaving all the little "crumbs" so that I can take them out when I need them. The good thing is that once it's on my skin, it goes on easily (no rubbing necessary, which would defeat my purpose, I think). Overall, it's great so far. I hope it works for preventing stretch marks too (but I have to wait and see).

Amazing natural moisturizer! Yes, this cocoa butter is hard, but it's 100% pure AND food grade! So if you are totally tempted by it's yummy dark chocolate smell, taste it! :) Cocoa butter's what they use as a base for chocolates. On the skin care side: it is excellent for lips and dry skin. Mid-west winters are tough, and this is a great protectant AND moisturizer. Most people don't realize how much *junk* is in lotions/creams. This is wayyy cheaper for the amount of product, and healthier for your body since it's natural! But, I personally wouldn't use it on your face as cocoa butter has a higher pore clogging rating. Go for shea butter for face; it has a pore clog rating of 0!

Amazing product! This is cocoa butter that the skin actually, fully absorbs within a minute. I will say that it is incredibly difficult to get out of it's container and I have to melt it in the microwave for a few seconds, but I feel that it's such a great product, that this really isn't an issue. I don't mind taking the extra time to chisel it out of it's tub and warming it because it actually works. Not to mention, the intoxicating aroma of real cocoa! GREAT PRICE TOO! Fantastic buy! Pure cocoa butter! That's it! No funky preservatives or additives, unlike Palmer's cocoa butter which is mostly mineral oil, corn oil and a variety of different waxes, dimethicone, etc. I will definitely be purchasing this product on a regular basis in the future.

I used this cocoa butter to make body butter. The quality is good as far as I can tell. However, the packaging makes it tricky to work with. Cocoa butter at room temperature is very hard. It's not like shea butter or coconut oil that you can scoop out - I had to heat this whole container in hot water for about 15 minutes to get some out to mix for body butter. I usually avoid heating plastic containers, but really had no alternative short of chipping away! Lesson learned - when I only need to use a little cocoa butter, the "nuggets" are easier to work with. I've purchase KAKOSI Organic Cocoa Butter in the past and that was much easier.

I've only been using the cocoa butter for less than 2 weeks, so I have yet to explore all the wonders of cocoa butter (including making own whipped cocoa body butter). Smells like chocolate. The product is very hard, but easy scoop out and warm up to an easily usable consistency. I've had really chapped hands that no other product (including shea butter) has been able to relieve. The cocoa butter has resolved the cracking chapped skin on my hands in less than a week, with a once a day application. I've also been using it on old scars and stretch marks...probably too early to assess efficacy. Also use as an all-over body moisturizer---a little goes a long way and my skin feels smooth and silky. Highly recommend product.

The product I got was too much dry, I thought it’s damaged or expired but this is the real coco butter, only you have to get small amounts and put it in microwave then you will get very nice oil and moisturizer your skin ,,, thank you

商品が１週間遅れで届きました。 すっかり乾燥の日々が続いたので、ようやくこれで保湿が、、、と思い、 パックを開けたところ、カッチカチ。。。スプーンでほじっても全く取れず。 シアバター100%の製品にあることではありがちでしたが、こちらの会社の製品は全くそういうこともなく、なめらかで使いやすかったので、ここ２年程利用していましたが、このココナツバターは製品的にひどいですね。 普段こちらの会社のシアバター100%の製品を購入していますが、全く異なります。 手ではすくえないので、スプーンでほじろうとしてもカッチカチで話になりません。 暖かくしても滑らかにならず、どういう製品なんでしょうか？ 返品はほじってしまったのでしませんが、製品説明にきちんと明記してほしいです。
