Works perfectly for the Simon 3 Alarm and last a long time after an initial charging
I received the battery a day earlier than expected, and then installed it in my system panel. It was charging slowly via the system panel. I took it out and put in it my charger for fill up the battery (about 1.5 hours on my faster portable charger for 6V, and then placed it back into the system panel. Although the panel didn't immediately recognize the battery was full, it did the next day. Therefore, I advise charging the battery upon receipt if you have an individual charger. This is the 2nd battery I have bought of this same manufacturer. The previous one lasted well over a year. The price and durability is phenomenal. I recommend this product.

Lasted Five Months
I bought this battery to replace one that had lasted for years in my Simon XT alarm system from ADT Security. This alarm system has been in place for many years, and I have had to replace its battery several times over that period. Previous batteries have lasted for years. This battery lasted fewer than five months before the Simon XT system alarm went off with a "low battery" notification, to signify that the battery needs to be replaced.
