ITUO Super Bright Bike Headlight with Batteries

So glad I stumbled over a review on this Wiz20 light on Amazon. I then took the info and researched ITUO and their products. All the reviews were stellar for quality and price range. There was a mountain bike blog that touted the way it attached to the bike, with no vibration. I first purchased a Magnus Vision II bike light, but after receiving it and inspecting their feeble attempt in their bike mount, and how the light attaches to the mount, I had to send it back as it was an accident waiting to happen. Did not make any difference if the light actually worked and lasted, if I was sure it would not stay secured and vibration free on the bike from the get go. Received my Wiz20. Aircraft quality aluminum housing, tight fit, premium gaskets, waterproof. The bike mount is very different looking, but once figured out, it grips the handlebars wherever I want to place it. Very well engineered. And, the light itself slides into a runner where it is clipped tight. No vibration, period. The light is programmable, but the default setting is more than adequate. I did not buy batteries with the light, but bought 2 4000 mwh 18650's, which take about 6 hours to charge in their own charger. The light beam and spread is perfect as you can see left to right easily and clearly. Don't know the wavelength of the light, but it is a very clear white. I can't imagine why ITUO has had a problem with distribution in the USA, but am glad I stumbled over this quality item. I think the price is fair, but I am happier with the fact that it actually works and does what they say it will do. Btw, the light easily slides off the mount with depression of the stopping tab on the runner. Extraction takes about 2 seconds. USB tab is another quality gasket. A feature I haven't used yet is that you can leave the batteries in the light and then hook up the USB port to a charging source as you would your cell phone. Occasionally I buy something that exceeds my expectations. This is one of those times. Thank you, ITUO. Keep it up.

The media could not be loaded.  The light is very well constructed with high quality aluminum alloy. It has a weighty feel in your hands like it can take a few bumps. Double LED with optics that you can change if you want a beam that has more flood and wider. I’ve used optics from the light company called Gloworm from New Zealand. It takes two 18650 batteries so they are user replaceable and you can carry extra to increase your run times. I love the fact that you can program the light in 10% increments. This can be useful by setting the high level to a lower percentage to increase runtimes. It has low, medium and high and also 3 flash modes. The LED are neutral white so warmer in color. I like this feature because it produces more useable light with less eye fatigue in my opinion. The charging is done through micro USB which allows for easy recharge in your car or computer or even smartphone adapter. One minor criticism is that the mount that I received would not stay clipped down when tightened. If you however turn the handle to the side then the clamp worked perfectly. Please see the short video that accompanies my review. I consider this light to strictly be a handlebar light because I find it to be a bit heavy for the helmet. I really love this light and I know a few people that own this model and consider it their favorite all around light. For the price, Ituo is hard to beat and their other lights make great combos when used on the helmet or bars. Customer service has responded to me and friends whenever we have questions.

Every now and then I come across a product that surprises me. I did a lot of research for a bike light, and I wanted something sturdy and waterproof.And I wanted it for mountain biking.I looked at many lights, in fact, I purchased 3 and tested them out. This one won, by far.This thing is brighter than most lights with even external battery packs, that being said, the 'medium' setting is more than bright enough! Paired with a decent helmet-mounted light this was great.The construction of the case is impressively good quality. Nothing rattles, the button has good feedback and is not too easy or too hard to press.Admittedly, when I first purchased this light, I had my reservations. I did encounter two problems with it.1- The batteries will drain rather quickly if you leave them inside, so, don't store your batteries inside the light for longer periods.2- The handlebar mount snapped on me, but that was because I tightened it too much - and that was after a year of usage.That being said, their customer support is stellar! I was surprised that they not only offered to replace the light, but they let me know that they're working on a metal version of the handlebar clamp, that'd make this light an absolute MUST!.I can definitely recommend this light to anybody!Pictures will follow.

Review 2 (Update after almost 3 months of use):The light is still great but there are 3 main issues with this light that I would not buy it again for this price:1 - If you let it sitting for a week or so, the battery will be completely dead.2 - The handle mount is very poor, I purchased another one in aluminum and replaced all the plastics from my unit.3 - After 2 months of use, I can leave it plugged in the charger for days, and the charge indicator of full charge will never turn blue again indicating complete charge.I hope this update helps.Review 1:The body is solid, the light is awesome for day or night. And the quality is amazing. Is comes with batteries, but I can't comment on them, since they have no brand. I believe I'll try to find some original Panasonic and replace them. The mount is easy to remove which is great, but I believe it should be also aluminum to follow the body of the light.
