Great natural smell. Cleans the clothes well. A little expense.

Hi! I absolutely love this brand! From the dish washing liquid to the special silk & wool liquid detergent to the laundry and beyond—just wonderful products & company! And, one of the only brands that also keeps you’re washing machine ( & dishwasher) clear of scale & hard water stains not to mention preserving your clothes. That said, I recently switched from laundry powder to liquid. With the laundry powder I put it directly into the front load washer drum per the instructions and the softener in the “detergent” compartment also per the instructions. I have looked everywhere including on the European & Australian Sonett websites to learn how to use the liquid laundry detergent with the softener and how exactly it goes into the washer of a front loading machine and unable to find this information. Many thanks, Annelouise Ps l love the dosage calculator and would love something similar for step by step washing (including for front loading washers which are very popular now in the US) for my friends who are new to the modular system, tx again!

It is crazy how much research you can put in to search for the best products that are safe and non-toxic for your children. I decided to give this a try because of promising reviews and I've found that a lot of products from Germany are safe for kids, due to their high safety standards (check out HABA toys). Pros: 1. The Sonett Laundry Detergent works wonderfully on our family's clothing, especially on all the stains a baby can create. 2. I love how the ingredients are non-toxic. It gives me a peace of mind! 3. Smells great! 4. Doesn't aggravate our sensitive skin Cons: 1. It is on the more expensive side for laundry detergent when you compare to other brands (that have bad chemicals in it), but it's around the same price range for other non-toxic brands 2. You're not able to subscribe and save. I assume it's because it's based in Germany

I am torn on this one. The ingredients for this detergent are great and having used it for a few weeks, my eczema does not seem to flair up. Overall I was satisfied with its cleaning for colored clothing. What I did not like is that I used the unscented version but it still left a smell on my clothes. It was not bad, but it was also not good. I could not pin point the smell. The other downside for me was that it did not clean my whites as well as I am used to with other detergents.

I was so excited to find this product - I'm always looking for ways to eliminate needless chemicals in my life and this laundry detergent is the best I have found. It cleans super well, is made from organic ingredients and it out-performs "traditional" laundry detergent. I found an organic fabric softener to use in the machine with it. I also use a bit of washing soda or borax to boost the wash and I am just so excited about the results! Who WOULDN'T be thrilled!

I use this specifically for my sheets and towels and love the results. They make the towels very soft—not fluffy soft but a velvety soft. In fact, almost everything I’ve washed with it end up very soft and fresh. Not too much of a scent left after drying, which is what i prefer. I have not tried on excessively dirty clothes, so I can’t speak to its ability to get stains and heavy dirt out. This is a lighter than usual viscosity for detergent and I like it. Two ounces works great in my top loader. Read up on Sonnet’s business model (in the description). I’m happy to support companies like this.

Favorite laundry detergent! No gross toxic ingredients. Wish it came in a larger size so I wasn’t wasting so much plastic. But I love this detergent. Use this with a few drops of lemon essential oils for my washing.

So far the two loads of infant clothes got cleaned well in our standard Frigidaire top loading laundry machine. Stains included formula, carrots, and sweat potatoes. I will be using this product in a much better Miele machine soon and expect even better results. The laundry has absolutely no smell afterwards.

It is highly concentrated so lasts a long time. I've been using it for years. The good thing is that it is colorless and does not have artificial lavender color to indicate the presence of lavender. We customers can be pretty weird, expecting extracts to have same color as the herb, so companies are forced to add it.

Theres some weird smell that stays on the clothes after drying. The smell similar to rubber or plastic.
