When i bought these 2 months ago i wasn't sure what size to get, as other reviews were all over the place, with most saying that the size they bought was too large despite what waist size they were. I recently gained weight and had to go up from 32 to 36 in the past 3-4 years, so i decided that since everyone else was complaining about it being too large overall, i bought some at 34. turns out that was too large for me, but just barely, so i bought again at 32. At first they seemed like they were going to be too large. i'm sure other men know what i'm talking about when i say they lacked that crucial support on the bottom, so i was just pulling them up higher and dealing with it, given no alternatives. However, a few washes later i noticed that the wash shrunk them enough that they fit perfectly fine, bottom support and all. They still ride a little high, but that's it. Overall, the elastic seems to be holding up well, which is a big win for this product. The fact that these are made of cotton i think is another big win, as that shrink helps with forming around your waist well. If you're 6 feet tall and 200 pounds these will probably fit great as long as you buy under your waist size, meaning that if you're a 34, then 30 will probably be a safe bet. Unfortunately, if you're short, then these underwear are a hard pass, because i'm 5' 9" and i think these are tall for me even after the shrink. Hope this helps. happy shopping :)

Stafford underwear is very well-made and proportioned. It was well worth the extra money over competing brands locally.
