Can it stand on it's own?

hmmmm, i dont think so. BUT, many of our folkmanis puppet listings have videos associated on the listings, if you take a look the video associated with this puppet, probably you could see if the legs looks solid or just hanging, etc.... sorry, i couldnt be of more help.. but i packaged these puppets and except for the larger stage puppets, i dont think this one is stand alone. mh but maybe put some sand in the 3 feets (foots?) and itll stay put!

Is it prime? I see that it ships between one to two months but it also says prime.

Prime just means you get free shipping. It sounds like it ships from the seller, who can be the actual manufacturer or a secondary vendor. If it's the manufacturer they are probably having issues with staffing due to COVID. This would make the wait longer. I have the three headed dragon and he is delightful. Children love him.

Do all of their mouths open

yes,indeed they do . Although it is near impossible to animate the mouths.

What are the care instructions? is it machine washable?

I have several (dozen) Folkmanis puppets. I used them for Storytime at the library and the children loved them and I always let them try them out. So I have occasionally washed them. I recommend using cold water and the delicate cycle (or the hand wash cycle if you have this on your machine). I've also put them in the dryer on the lowest temperature setting. I also take them out when they are slightly damp and hand them to finish drying. You don't have to dry them outside, you can pin them to a hanger and dry them anywhere you can hang the hanger. I hope this helps.

1st of many

My 7 year old grandson is fascinated with dragons,Cthulhu, anyand every thing mythical. The look of sheer joy on his face when this 3 headed cryptid arrived was beyond compare. It's exactly as described, vibrant , well made and full of imaginative possibilities. I think right about now they're flying high above some ethereal mountainous kingdom or skimming the waves of a clear emerald sea. Fine quality

I bought this for my niece a year ago and have been very pleased with the quality.It is soft, yet at the same time the materials used have varying texture an shine which add to the visual appeal.The control is somewhat limited because each finger goes into a neck and the hands are controlled by the other 2 fingers.So, you can't really control the mouths to simulate talking even though the mouths are flexible.The other criticism is that the jaws look like they are hanging open too low.But overall, a fantastic product, worth the price. Very fine quality.A puppet that is also an aesthetically pleasing stuffed animal.

Fun puppet

The three headed dragon is a really fun puppet. We must have over twenty puppets, but it's my favorite. It's very versitile. It can be scary or not. We use it to hold a princess hostage or be the royal pet. It's not too big to fit in the diaper bag. It works well with all of our puppet 'stages.' And it feels terrific. We haven't yet had to clean it so I don't know how it would hold up, but it seems very well made. A great purchase.Update in 2012:My kids have moved on, but I STILL love this puppet! Most of the others went to goodwill, but this little dragon is still with us.

Quality toys!

My 8 year old LOVES puppets and this was the perfect birthday gift for him! It's easy for him to get his fingers into the different heads and he sleeps with it every night. He's had it for 3 months now and it still looks brand new. This is the second Folkmanis puppet he has, both have held up beautifully to play and snuggling!

Great Puppet!

This puppet is very well made with quality velvety material. The color is very attractive. The puppet's limbs and 3 heads are easily manipulated making it look very realistic when all 3 heads move. It fits like a comfortable glove on a medium/large sized woman's hand. I bought this puppet for kids aged 3, 5 and 7. I think they will love it.
