Swedish Beauty FIG GET ME NOT Bronzer Tanning Bed Lotion 8.5 oz

I had high hopes for this lotion. After doing a lot of research, I read that this lotion was ideal for individuals with fair skin due to the l-tyrosine content in the lotion (which is thought to help with melanin production). I'm a natural red head who in the past, has been able to tan to a medium complexion. It's difficult and takes time, but with persistence, I can tan. Prior to receiving this in the mail, I was using Australian Gold sunscreen/tanning lotion with a bronzing agent in it. I was using this product in the sun and it worked surprisingly well. The bronzer in that product really did stain my skin in a pleasant way and I felt like I was successfully darkening on my own. When I received the Swedish Beauty product, I noticed that the consistency of the product wasn't as moisturizing or thick as other users reported. It also did not "tint" my skin in any way even though it claims to have a bronzing agent. I've used this consistently now for 2 weeks in the tanning bed. I've used this product a total of 9 times in those two weeks in the tanning bed for 4-5 minutes. I have had zero results from this product.Exiting the tanning bed, my skin will appear a little red from the heat but will subside. I've waited several hours every time before taking a shower to allow the lotion to work within my skin (l-tyrosine and bronzing agent). Still, it hasn't created any change. Perhaps it would work better in the sun? But for the tanning bed, it's a flop for me. I'm hoping I received a legitimate product. It came in the mail in a sealed plastic wrap and appears to be the real deal by the configuration and script on the tube. I will continue using this until the product runs out. IF I finally see positive results from it, I will update my review.

I really liked the price and smell of this lotion. I have used it in the past and it is definitely a favorite. Unfortunately, the tanning lotion was shipped in a padded envelope. When I opened the envelope, the cap was dislodged from the bottle and cracked into 3 pieces. This caused lotion to ooze all over the packaging. I was irratated that I would have to return it and reorder since there is no exchange option. Ultimately this is the fault of the seller due to improper packaging. I hope they use boxes in the future.

Always loved this. When i worked at a tanning salon I would recommend this lotion to girls who already have pretty tan skin, not pale skin. Reason because this bronzer is not a great one, the lotion itself smells AMAZING and it hydrates but the bronzer isn't great. This lotion doesn't give you that gross smell/feeling after you tan. Recommended if you go to work after you tan, or go work out, or like to do things after you tan because you smell good!

I was out of my product that I purchased at the tanning salon and needed something for the last 2 weeks of my membership. My main concern was price which is houw I ended up with Swedish Beauty. The first thing that I noticed was that most lotions I have used are more of a liquid based this product was much heavier and more of a consistency of toothpaste as a result you use more than you would if it were more of a liquid as it does not spread as easy. I did not notice my tan getting any darker while I used this lotion but it did keep my skin moist. I did enjoy the smell which came across as a nice flowery scent.

Amazing scent. Does the job. This product moisturizes me well. I am very fair skinned but I don't seem to be darker than with any other product but the scent of this product is definitely worth it.

Works great in the tanning bed. After 2 days Deff. See results. I would buy this again. Smells great, and goes on smooth. I have fair skin. It doesn't help me hold my tan, but as long as I keep tanning, this lotion really helps me build a tan. I purchased it because of the reviews... And was not disappointed!

This tanning lotion gave me pretty good color. I am very fair and have been tanning for a little under a month. I am definitely darker that I usually get. It has a great smell and blends very well. I would recommend this lotion.

Has a nice scent to it, and it is not overpowering. Mild enough scent that it doesn't choke you out. Gives a nice little color boost. Nothing extreme. If your looking for something mild that is gentle on the skin and will give you a slight color boost this is it.
