I’m really surprised to say that I really like this perfume. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect as it comes under the Britney Spears branding, but it’s actually made under licence by Elizabeth Arden, a much more experienced perfumer at the more value end of the market, so gives me a bit more confidence in the product.On application I found that the top notes of mandarin don’t really come through, as the lower musk and cedar notes are more dominant, and that’s just right for me. As the perfume damps down on wear it settles into a subtle pleasant scent with nice projection as you waft by.I’m not sure what the price in Amazon will be as it’s not listed at the point of review, however I have seen it in sale for anything from £11 to £23 elsewhere online. It’s only 30ml so you wouldn’t expect to pay too much for it and at £11 I would say this is an excellent buy and no one would know it’s such a value brand. The product is a bit over packaged though, a tiny but cute bottle in an oversized cardboard box, but that a minor gripe. I like the circular bottle with its offset spay and lid and great that to doesn’t take up too much room in my bathroom. I've been trying this out for a few weeks now and i can honestly say that the scent is fine but it really only lasts an hour or two no matter how much i put on. My other half has not as yet said anything about me smelling nice, so i'm guessing it's either too weak or he just doesn't find it enough to remark upon. If it lasted a bit longer then i'd probably give this scent a better mark as it's not bad in terms of smell.
