Prym Tracing Wheel Toothed Ergonomic & Corner and edge shaper

It only goes round a part circle then jams and you have to fiddle with it, or keep rolling it back and forwards. This is hopeless if you are trying to trace something that needs to be accurate. IOt was a lot more cheaply made than I expected - Prym stuff is sually OK - unless it was a fake.

Would love to have this item, looks ergonomic and well made. However would advise to not buy it from Amazon as it is likely it will not show up in these COVID times due to their use of Hermes Couriers.

Needed a new one as the one I had for over 20+ years has broken, I find you really have to press hard on this one to transfer markings on to the fabric

If you want a tracing wheel blunt enough for a baby to safely play with this is the one for you. If however you want a tracing wheel that works on fabric, paper or even tissue patterns then this is not for you.

It does exactly what it’s meant to do, I use it to enable me to trace the smaller size I need on a sewing pattern so I can keep the bigger sizes to make items for other people too.

Brilliant. Tried a cheap one which was just rubbish. Sharp enough to trace through several layers but without cutting. Nice and smooth to run. A little uncomfortable for me to hold but I have arthritis so nothing small is that comfy. Very happy with it.

Not necessary for small projects.
