Does the zipper slide easily or is it real stiff? Does it smell like fresh glue when you first recive it?

Zipper seems stiff like it SHOULD be and comes with lube that you should use to keep it working right. Mine seems as good as my friends who have Yeti and RTIC in my opinion.

Use the lubricant in the zipper. I had to have my cooler replaced because the zipper would not work.

If you strap it down yeah I think it’s strong enough to stand there. It’s a really great back pack cooler. we use ours for the beach and walking around all the time. we love it and have had it for a few years and it’s still going strong never leaks. And at the beach it gets sand all on it and never has issues. Hope this helps ya.
