Works very well. Drums up a rich and creamy lather as well as the premium silver tip it's just not quite as soft. Comfortable on the face with perfect amount of backbone. Like most Parker brushes it has a generous plum though a small amount shorter than the Silver Tip brush. The Black Badger bristles benefit greatly from conditioning (use) especially on a textured bowel like the Vikings Blade stainless or textured ceramics.

Good for the price! But I prefer higher end softer bristles. This one also seems to shed more than usual

The brush itself is very nice and soft. However, when you first get it, it has a bad musky smell. I almost could not shave the first time due to the smell of the brush. And it's been two weeks and I have used it about three times and the smell still lingers. Hopefully that musky smell will dissipate after a while. If you buy this, make sure you're not in a rush to use it the first time.

Coming from a boar brush (which was great as a starter) to this was night and day. Would definitely recommend for the duckets.

Great brush but it came with the handle not painted fully ( there was chipped away paint around the inner curve of the whole handle )

excellent shaving brush that i have to break it in, it does smell when i used but its normal, i expected it. with time it will go away.

Very prickly and the bristles have a smell to them which is very unpleasant When wet.

It has the black badger hair that is supposed to be scratchy, but I found it soft and it fans out while lathering. So I bought a boar one and I m happy with the result. Also the holder stand is very cheap considering the price.
