Great beginner keyboard
Quality as expected. Very easy interface. All the necessary inputs and outputs on the back. Light-weight and portable. Lighted keys are bright, so easy to follow. "Dance" beat function makes it fun to create a beat on the fly. CONS: Need to get used to the plastic keys.

Great Keyboard but frustrating midi connection
The keyboard is great once I figured out how to get the midi connection to work. The connection on the back of the keyboard is micro usb. I went through many of the cables I have here at home thinking they were for data transfer but turns out they are only for charging. There's no way of knowing unless you try them out or buy them new from the store and the description tells you it is for transmitting data and not just for charging. The cables for data transmission are generally thicker than the ones for just charging. I had to buy adapters so I could go from the micro usb on the back of the keyboard to another micro usb on my fire tablet and another adapter to connect to my phone which uses a usb c connector. The order in which you connect them also matter for some reason. The adapter had to go on the tablet/phone side and not on the keyboard side or it would not work. Not sure why. I bought an adapter for my iPad but that one didn't work no matter what I tried. I'm currently using the keyboard with Simply Piano. I connected a 3.5mm aux cable from the fire tablet to the keyboard and then used the included headphones to the keyboard. They allows the app sound to come out the keyboard and through the headphones for truly quiet practice. I hope this helps.

Recommend it to anyone who has been hesitant to start playing keyboards
I bought the Casio LK-S250 61-Key Premium Lighted Keyboard Pack as a birthday present for my wife, and it was the perfect choice! She has always wanted to learn to play the keyboard, but never had the confidence to do so. The illuminated key system was an absolute revelation to her! It makes her learning intuitive - she just repeats after the illuminated keys and a miracle happens! Music is born! The keyboard itself is compact and doesn't take up much space, which is great for our house. The included stand and headphones allow my wife to study in comfort and without distractions. After just a few days, she was already able to play simple tunes. Now, a month later, she can play more complex ones. This keyboard will give confidence to someone who was hesitant to learn. If you or a loved one has always wanted to play but thought it was too difficult, this gift is the perfect solution. I highly recommend it!

Beginner friendly
I’ve always wanted to play the piano and guitar since I tried band in middle school. This piano has helped me improve a crazy amount in only the span of 2 months. Now, of course I watch a few YouTube videos here and there to pick up some tips and tricks, but this is an extremely helpful learning tool. There’s a feature where you can listen to 40+ built-in songs and the keys light up to help you play them more by note on either isolated hand or both at once. It comes with headphones to for quiet playing sessions if you don’t want to bother anyone, so this is definitely worth it!

Highly recommend
This is a great entry-level piano. I watched youtube Merriam reviews before choosing this keyboard and glad I did. The sound quality is good for the money, the interface is easy, and it has ports for pedal, earphones, mic, midi, and pedal. Very happy with it.

Nice beginner keyboard
This is my first keyboard. Bought it for a hobby. It a nice beginner teaching piano. I especially wanted one with lighted keys. The keys are touch sensitive. So easy to practice on. Only negative is the stand is not as sturdy as I would like.

Misleading description
My 7 year old daughter just got this keyboard for Christmas. I’m very happy with the quality, and other reviewers have already highlighted all of the positives. But what I am puzzled about is the product description: “voice-guided Step-Up Lesson system.” After playing around with the keyboard, I am not finding anything that’s voice-guided. I was hoping for a little tutorial that identified hand placement and key names, etc. But I think it’s only referring to the feature that guides you through built-in songs…which is cool, but it’s not voice-guided. The Casio website and user manual don’t mention voice-guided, so unless I’m missing something, the description should be changed. Overall I am still happy with it.

After watching a lot of online reviews, we settle on this models and we did not regret it, good sounds, good build and wide range of options and awesome color key training.

I bought this for my son who expressed interest in learning to play piano. This is decent begginer keyboard. 61 key, Keys are lighted, full size, but not weighted . The sound is average. Many rhythms and 60 prerecorded songs to learn. I wish display has back light because often is difficult to read. The stand is good, but headphones are low quality and mine actually arrived broken, smashed in transport, but Amazon replaced them. I am generally happy with purchase. Hope it will be well used .

I really liked this piano the sound quality is good and the lighted keys help with the lessons-just wish they had included some more songs. Also if there were letter under the keys it would make it easier to remember.
