Breville BOV860BSS Smart Oven Air Fryer and Convection Oven, Brushed Stainless Steel

I wanted a multi function oven that was small, did not take long to reach temperature, maintain that temp better than my big oven without heating up the kitchen in the summer. I read a random review of the Breville along with several competitors and decided to investigate. I found one at a local store but they only offered it in stainless steel. Amazon had the same oven in a matte black that matched my kitchen at the same price plus free delivery. Once it arrived, set up was pretty straight forward. I have used several different cooking levels including the air fry for some fish and tots. It makes better toast than the recently purchased toaster and does it consistently. My husband recently had to have a feeding tube put in and no longer can have solid food. This oven makes cooking for one much more efficient and without having to use the kitchen stove quite as much. It bakes cookies, biscuits, and there are many pieces of equipment included in the box that assist in making your journey cooking various foods as easy as possible. The only downside so far that I have found is the basket for the use with the air fryer is not easy to clean, otherwise the rest of the upkeep has been pretty simple. You will hopefully be as pleased with your decision as I have been. May there be many years of good use.

This is our second Breville Convection smart oven. We lived in our 5th wheel for 3 years and used the Breville every day. When we finally moved into our house we brought our Breville. We decided to buy a second one because the first one was used so much we just needed to.I’ve cooked a small thanksgiving dinner in this convection oven. I’ve made cakes, brownies, used my cast iron to make all kinds of meals. It works really well for almost everything. I remember I wanted to do something on high heat for 4 hours and it didn’t have that ability so I had to keep restarting it. The start button had issues after that. I really did push that oven to its limits due those three years.I highly recommend this oven. It amazing.My one and only complaint- I couldn’t figure out how to clean it. I was always worried I would break the elements so I did the best I could. The door and bottom were easy enough to keep clean. I wiped the sides and top down carefully avoiding the elements.

My old Breville died one morning after 10 years of daily use. I used it for all manner of cooking. The new one has an air fryer option so I went for the slight upgrade. It’s super quiet except when using the air fryer option, and the convection option works great. So convenient for an apartment or small space where you don’t feel like firing up some giant oven for a small pizza or few frozen items. Great addition to my kitchen.

I had considered a long while, what type of toaster oven to purchase. All brands, all models. Finally I got the bravois one. I am happy with purchase. I haven’t used all the features yet, but those I have have worked as they should. I would buy this money again. It’s a good size without being huge!

I haven’t had the Breville long enough to really learn about it but so far the upside has been;1) easy to clean2) functionality…toast, bake, roast, air fry etc. I have limited space so have eliminated the toaster and air fryer.3) easy to useThe downside is learning timing as it cooks faster than a regular oven. When I get that down, my rating will probably be a five star.

Best choice I have made. It got rid of my air fryer and my toaster and became one. Everything else is just a bonus. We use the bake option all the time.

I decided on this unit partly because of the color, which I am in love with, and the brand name. I own a Breville espresso machine that is going on 5 years old with no issues, so quality is proven. I have managed to replace both my toaster and air fryer with this thing. I roasted garlic in it, make cookies, make full meals etc. Toaster ovens are far more than they used to be. This will be a life saver in the summer when I don't have to turn on my full size oven and heat up my kitchen. As a family of two now, this also makes small meals even easier. This one wins my vote hands down. There are bigger ones with even more functions, but honestly, I think this size makes the most sense.

I bought this to replace my toaster and my air frier. It’s amazing and I use it more than my oven now. It’s so convent and heats up really quickly.
