Great boba!
Great flavor, I also like how the pearls are a bit smaller than the ones I usually buy. I'll be buying these again!

Smaller and not much flavor, but still good
I really love this brand, and I usually just buy the regular black tapioca pearls, but I like taro too so I decided to give these a try. They're smaller than the black tapioca pearls, and they smell like taro when you open the package, but when they're cooked you cant taste it as much.

Cooking time and sweetener
I love these, overall they are a good value for the money.Want to address a few things that is noticed on other reviews while I tell you my experienceI cooked them for three minutes and they were acceptable. I added them to my milk tea and it was almost as good as going to the local boba tea place.I tried them with out sweetener and with. by far, better with a sweetener if you are looking for a pop of flavor.Taro is a root that has a peculiar flavor but it is not known for making believers out of people who are not familiar with it, it is NOT sweet by nature. For typical boba, "cook' your pearls for 5-7 minutes with plenty of water, they will float within three but keep cooking for a little longer, they will be less chewy. strain out of the hot water, immediately shock into cold simple syrup made of dissolved cane sugar in water. once they have soaked some of the simple sugar, strain from there into your milk tea.The best sugar substitute I have experienced is swerve, dissolve swerve in warm water, once it cools, warm boba will absorb the same as regular sugar with out all the extra calories. My full "experience with out all the trouble" involved Qbubble Tea powder Taro, dissolves wonderfully on either warm or cold water. added a little oat milk but you can use regular milk, Ice and sweetened pearls, it looked marvelous and it tasted like success.Get these, your taste buds will thank you.

Novel
I like the novelty of this taro ball…and I’m good. I gave it for a Christmas gift before trying it myself because I was convinced it was going to be amazing and um…well you can’t ungive a gift. Back to the normal boba for us!It is easy to make and the flavor is O.K. Not amazing though. The balls are smaller which actually works better for the metal straws I bought on Amazon.

Worth the price
I didn't read anywhere that you have to boil these. They're amazing and worth it but, FYI you have to boil them. 💜

So Adorbs
These are the prettiest color ever. Little chewy lavender balls of yum. I cooked in a sugar water then soaked in vanilla simple syrup before serving. So good.
