Great Float!
We love our Big Joe Float! It can be used in the pool for some comfy reading time. It can also be used as an extra seat for the poolside! There have been many times that I’ve sat on ours with my feet dangling in the water. Very comfy! Our first one lasted two years.

My favorite floatie for comfort!
This has got to be one of the best floats I've ever had! It's full of beads so no inflation needed. When dry it is super lightweight and has 3 carry handles. You can shift the beads around which allow you to sit more upright or lie down nearly flat. I have had this float for a year. I live in Florida and have a pool so it lived outside most of last summer. I took it to the springs and floated on it in the river. Great deep cup holder!!! Cool side pocket for flip flops or other waterproof items. Faded a bit...but Florida!! Fabric still looks great. No snags or pulls that I see. It IS fabric so you don't slide easily on it. Fabric also means you don't burn your parts on it. Bought a bags of beads to fluff it up a bit this season. Worked well. When pulling it out of water go slow and let it drain and it is easy. Cons...since it doesn't deflate you need a little room to take it places. Taking it on a 3 hr river float in a month...standby.

The Perfect Float!
I can't speak highly enough about these floats. We bought two of them and they can't be more perfect. You're not entirely out of the water but you're also not entirely submerged so you stay cool enough in the heat. The float will form to whatever shape you'd prefer, whether it's laying back flat or sitting upright. There's a handy side pocket for your phone (if it's in a waterproof case) and a cup holder. These floats aren't designed to get wild and crazy with so if you have rambunctious kids or rambunctious adults I wouldn't put these out for them to use. The Styrofoam beads are loose inside the float (as opposed to having their own "containment system") so if it blows a seam from rough play you will have beads in your pool. But the loose beads are precisely what makes this float perfect because you can make it whatever sort of chair you'd like. If relaxing on a float is your idea of perfect pool time then theses floats are perfect for you!

Comfortable, nice material and nice for lounging by or in the pool.
I love this for lounging by the pool! The only thing that would make it better would be for it to be a little taller as getting out of it is tough. LOL! I've used it in my pool as well, and it floats great. The picture is a little deceiving as it looks like it has more "beans" than it does. It could use more beans, however I could lay on my stomach comfortably since it is not full of beans. Nice material. A little expensive in my opinion, though. But, overall, a nice item.

Lightweight and comfy
Well made and larger than I thought. Multiple cup holders and great for napping! Very lightweight and looks durable - hopefully it stands up to the Florida sun. And the box it came in has instructions to make a castle - perfect for the kiddos.

10/10 would recommend
Perfect for the boat. We ride the river for fun a lot and I got this for my wife. Works great also if you have a younger child they can both be comfortable and sit in the bottom of the boat where it’s safer. Used most of the summer and held up great. Way cheaper than some of the other ones I found online.

Comfortable
I haven’t found any of the white lounge chairs for tanning shelves to be comfortable, so I ordered the big Joe beanbag float to see if it would work. It is so comfortable, I may never get up again! My only dissatisfaction was that the box arrived with one flap open and beans everywhere. When I tried to find the source of the beans, it turned out the inner zipper of the beanbag was halfway open. Weird. We’ll see how durable the bean bag will be - not sure the seams are the strongest! I would recommend some welting for higher quality/durability.

Not bad, if you have another float for your feet
This chair easily keeps my heavy bottom above water. I would bet that this float chair would still keep a 400 pound person no more than waist deep in the water. My teenager can climb onto it from in the water, sit on her knees, and even scared me by nearly standing up on it from that kneeling position. That said, for an adult who is not skinny and athletic, it is difficult to get my butt back far enough into the seat to not feel like I'm tipping forward. Maybe getting on it from a deck or the shallows of a beach would be easier, but I've tried a dozen times from the ladder if our above ground pool and it's not possible. However, if you have another float, like a noodle, to use as a foot rest, it keeps you up well enough to float peacefully, for a while. After about 20 minutes or so, just your body weight vs. the natural physics of foam beads, you do eventually have to hop off and start over. It's best to try to move the foam beads so that you can fold the back over the top, flip it back, hop on backwards. If you are comfortable with a straddle approach, that helps keep you from tipping forward as well. It's mostly just trying to be seated far enough back to stay on well, which the design makes slightly difficult. It works well enough. Star deductions for price and design. Honestly, if there were more division between the seat and back, stitching that prevented the foam from moving around so much while on it, it would be more worth the cost and a 5 star product.

I booked down and ordered this for my husband who is picky about his pool chairs. He’s over 6 feet so it’s harder to find something appropriate for him. He loves it! (So do I) it’s super Sunday and no need to blow up. I loved it so much, I bought the flat lounger as well. It’s a little pricey compared to buying direct from Big Joe but harder to ship to Canada so I just gave in and spent the money. Hopefully, it lasts.

This item is great if you start out of the pool. Trying to get on it in the water is rough. Beads move around and it is never where you want them. Start out of the water and jump back into it.
