dangerous trap
After a full day on the roof or a large shed putting on a new cover, no accidents until I worked the ladder down! Poor catches are too tight, needing force to open them - crash comes the ladder down on to my hand. Lots of surface damage (3 fingers and hand) and bleeding, but miraculously nothing broken (I thought I had major breaks from the pain). This is too dangerous to sell! Also, the rungs only lock when extended, so moving it around is like moving around a giant heavy accordion by holding only one handle. It would be great if the rungs could be safely locked when extended or stacked and if the catches worked with a single finger, without needing to put your hands between the rungs to do so. Opening it is a dream (no locks), but closing it is like the till in 'open all hours'!
