They worked

Failed after 8 months of light use
I've never had a flash drive fail before, and I've used dozens, mostly for duplicate backup of important files. One of these two drives is now unreadable by two computers, claiming to have an unrecognized file system and suggesting reformatting. No reason for it--I don't pull flash drives out without using the Eject feature, I didn't back up any infected files (unless something slipped past my antivirus and anti-malware programs)... I'm not about to trust the other drive in the set, so both are getting smashed and trashed. Maybe these are counterfeits, maybe I just got a defective one. Whatever. Not buying any more Verbatim drives!
