Starting an Online Business All-in-One For Dummies

This book was very informative. I like it a lot.

I started an online business selling and servicing residential playground equipment and this book was crucial to its current success. I started the process without the book but bought it as the other "For Dummies" books have been an easy read with many helpful tips and I wanted to get some outside ideas with having to spend a lot of time reading. This book was perfect as it was organized into sections of interest that I could read without having to read the entire book to get out of it what I was looking for at that particular moment. As with all other book in this series, it was well organized, easy to follow and understand and made quick work of finding helpful information without having to spend hours researching. Most importantly, the book offered valuable advice on many topics that I had not even considered. As a tradesman with some college, this book was invaluable to me and my current success as I spent the last few months setting up my website and now I am not only selling playsets on a regular basis, but I am installing and servicing them and have had to hire help to answer the phones , work in the field, and had to get an accountant to help with all of the money that is coming in and to aid me in my taxes. To me, this is my dream fulfilled and I honestly do not believe that my site would look as professional as it does or be as good as it is without the aid of this book- it truly was very helpful to me and I hope that if you are starting your own online business that you give it a try and see exactly what I mean as it walks you through everything from formulating an idea for a business, to getting the proper licensing, to implementing the site and going live on the net. I find this cumbersome to read because of its size. Wish it were several smaller books

I am not the brightest when in comes to doing internet business. When I ordered the book I thought it would just focus on one something. Instead it had eleven different business models that you can choose from. I am reading it a second time so that I know witch model I want to to follow. Easy to read and understand I have never been let down buy the All in One For Dummies series. This book looks up to it's name. My suggestion, Buy It!

The book arrived in less than 72 hours after I purchased it. And let me say this book is a wealth of knowledge. I have read it cover to cover and have many page markers. It's written in easy to understand lingo and points out many things most people might over look. It's a large book but worth every word. I highly suggest purchasing this if your even considering starting a business. easy read, very detailed, great price, up to date , a must read. I would recommend this to friends and family. One of the better purchases I have made thus far in creating my online business. no regrets.

If you're looking for a book that'll actually help you create a website, look somewhere else. Mostly just ideas/creative topics to keep in mind

I don't like to post a review until I've finished a book but this one is obviously the one a person needs to get started in an e-business. As outlined in other posts it doesn't have advanced, minute details but it does bring up every subject one needs to know about in starting a business including a business plan, taxes, home office, internet security, etc. So far I've only finished about a third of the book and find that it's well written. It doesn't just have lots of information in it the book is easy to read and interesting. The part about taxes is not as interesting as the part about profit but that's life.

850 pages of different information. Definitely worth the money spent!

I am still working through this, there is so much info in here and what I have read so far has left me feeling well prepared on that subject. Can’t wait to read more, appears to have all one would need to get an online store going and guide one through set up and operation. Great value for the money, so glad I purchased this!

Very Good Book!

The size of the book was smaller than expected. Lots of pages of information. Recommended for beginners to starting an online business!
