Good quality but expensive
Ordered this for a recipe I saw on Instagram! The recipe was delicious but this olive salad is good on its own!

Makes a fantastic pasta salad. Watch out for pits.
I wasn't sure what to expect and was worried it would just taste like Chicago giardiniera (vinegar-y) except with olives, but it's actually quite different and delicious. It's savory and tasty, but relatively mild so that it doesn't overpower like giardiniera might. Aside from the classic muffaletta sandwich, this is also AMAZING for cold pasta salads. Mix rotini / rigatoni, olive salad, grated parmigiano reggiano and some cherry tomatoes. Let it chill in the fridge, then serve. Delicious! I luckily did not have any leakage problems. It's still expensive for its size, but other places are about the same price after shipping. Only problem: I found a few olive pits inside. This would be quite an unwelcome surprise in a sandwich!

This Olive Salad was absolutely delicious… used to make individual muffuletta salad cups for an appetizer over cheese cubes and sausage cubes . 😋

Just OK
Thought we'd give this a try based on the more affordable price, but we found the olive oil to be too thick and unpleasant when tossing the product with pasta. It was OK on our sandwiches. But honestly it did not have the bright flavor or fresh texture of the similar product by "The Pickle Guy."
