Great alignment features
Excellent putting mat. Had this for 2 months now and this has helped me with my speed. My putting challenge has always been distance control. Either 2 feet short, or 5 feet past which leads to a lot of 3 putts.I really like the distance markings on how far forward and back your putter should be with each putt. Has 3-5-8 footers which is more than enough.Another great feature is the “good zone”. It tells you how far past the hole you would want the ball to go to still have a gimmee putt.I used this in my office which is over a short rug. Rolls pretty smooth, but I think a little faster than my public course.I did try this in my garage on the concrete floor, but I find this rolls way too fast. No where close to the same speed as my local public course. If I were to keep it in my garage, I’d get a layer of foam or thin carpet to put underneath and see how that rolls. Not sure how this compares to the other models WellPutt sells, but I would buy this product again.

Perfect for apartment practice
It rolls up nice and tight and fits back in its box. To me, the best use of an indoor putting mat is practicing consistent set up and delivery. This checks all the boxes. It has made me more confident for those short- and mid-range putts.

The Mat does not seem to lay flat.
The putts seem to continuously veer off the center line which is counter productive as I have to aim 3 inches to one side to make the putt. I’ve tried numerous flat floor areas but it seems to be the mat itself.Rolling it up to ship probably doesn’t help. I’n hoping that it will eventually flatten out.Update: the Matt started to flatten after 3 weeks.

The right Speed
I like the visual of making sure to stroke the ball with enough Speed to get it into a Zone the is beyond the back of the cup!!

Very nice putting mat for my home office
I purchased this putting mat to use at a tradeshow, in hopes of luring in golf lovers to my booth. Not only was that a huge success, but I now has it in my home office. I hit probably 50 puts a day on this mat, and it rolls really nice. It's a medium speed on top of my carpet. Certainly a pace that I feel is consistent with most of the courses around me. I like the different cups on the mat, and the "good zone" that is located behind each cup. I found that this has made me a more confident putter out on the course, especially with these 8 foot and in type putts. And really, those are the majority of putts that you should be practicing. Typical golfer might miss an approach shot, then chip on, and then you're probably putting somewhere inside 8 feet. Get this mat, hit some putts when you can, and you'll find yourself hitting these putts more confidently out on the course. Great mat!

It works well and I’m already developing better distance control.
The last little bit of curl is being stubborn, so have a weight on it. Not too happy about that.

It's 5 stars for what it is
Easiest for you and me if I just list the features of this mat.-It rolls true with a realistic speed if you play public courses with green fees under $70 including cart, at least in Minnesota. It approximates a good average of those green speeds.-It has helpful putter face alignment marking.-There are markings that at least make you pay attention to the length of your back stroke-boxes on either side of the 'hole' that mark good leaves long, and bad leaves short-the mat will take the contours of the floor, but it's black, and contours are so subtle that you can't read it like a green, but once you see the roll you can stroke for aiming points and there are straight lines from starting point to hole that help.-It seems like it is 15-20% overpriced for what it is, but I don't know anything about the production process, and other good options cost more. I also know that golfers are generally known to have disposable income and are willing to drop it on this stuff...I bought this to drill on getting the putter face square for starting putts online, and to work on consistent back stroke and consistent pace for distance control. It worked. Putts noticeably start on intended lines most of the time, distances are improved, and I have cut 3 putting in half, maybe a little better. I may spring for one of the more expensive models at some point, but I would have to master this one first and that won't happen in the near future.
