I have tried other shooting mats and found that they were irritatingly short. I'm 6'1" and my legs extended beyond the end of the mat. I tried a buddy's large mat and liked it, but it seemed a bit thin on the ground. I saw this one and it purports to have more padding. IT DOES! I haven't been able to go to the range with it yet, but I tested it on some rocky ground and it was padded enough that I did not feel any discomfort. Well worth the money.

This is a great, quality made shooting mat. I took it out on the range for the first time and it was immediately admired by fellow shooters.

For $50-60 this is an excellent quality shooting mat. The padding is appropriately dense. It is firm enough to remain a cushion, but not so dense as to folding difficult. All of the materials are of high quality. The buckles are a thick and sturdy plastic and the strap and handles are thick enough that they’re not going to wear out too quickly. This mat is very similar to the Dillon Precision mat used at the Bianchi Cup, which is why I purchased this particular mat. Dillon mats are generally out of stock anywhere near the window of the Bianchi Cup, so this budget alternative is an excellent substitute.

seams pretty durable, be nice if had wings on upper end, but padding was nice even thou using on grass a lot easier on the knees
