Well ladies, I have to say that I have joined the "hot flash" club if there is such a thing. I sure did not ask for an invitation, nor was I expecting one. After my own research, along with seeing my gynecologist, I learned I'm in perimenopause. (Google if needed, but it's basically the "pre" of menopause.) Having just turned forty this year, I was surprised to be experiencing issues already; I'm relieved nonetheless to know why I'm having them. The biggest symptom thus far, for me, has been hot flases.
